Episode 4: Shinigami’s Resurrection
(Drake’s repair facility, Kert is sitting with a cup of coffee on a console over looking Heavy Zero.)
Kert: (Typing) hmm…just one more adjustment…finished. (Presses a button and sheets of paper come out of the printer. Kert looks over them, and starts typing again.)
(Colony L3, a shuttle is headed towards a hanger in one of the colonies)
Control guy: Unidentified shuttle, identify yourself or you will not be permitted to enter
Plague: Anderson, Now!
(One of the guys at the console stands up, gets out pistol and shoots everyone, walks over to the radio)
Anderson: So when can I expect payment?
Plague: Only after my gundam is repaired
Anderson: You do realize of coure that we will not be able to repair it with gundanium. Only neo-titanium
Plague: It’ll do for the time I need. (Lands)
Anderson: Very well, My men will help get it out, I will eject these bodies into space and make it look like an accidental explosion.
(Many men run out to the shuttle)
(A truck drives down the road in colony, it has something (obviously Death Scythe X) with a tarp over it on the truck bed, the truck drives into a building, the door closes behind it)
(Drake’s repair facility, Kert is overlooking the upgrade of Heavy Zero)
Kert: It’s a small upgrade but I think it will make all the difference.
(Drake walks up behind him)
Drake: It’ll be ready in about 2 days
Kert: 2 days?!
Drake: My men are working 24 7 on it already, we can’t go any faster.
Kert: I can’t wait that long, I’m going tommorrow.
Drake: But by that time only 80% of the upgrade will be complete!
Kert: I’ll finish it myself.
Drake: but..
Kert: I’m leaving in the morning and that’s it. (Walks out)
Drake:……men! Our client is leaving tommorrow morning so step it up as much as you can! We’ve got to have as much of it done as possible before then! (Various agreements, they start working) Thinking: That kids gonna save us all
(Back somewhere in the facility, Kert is walking about, comes across one of the hanger bays, looks in and sees some Leo mobile suits)
Kert: These may be useful……
(Resource satelitte MO-IV, everything is going peacefully, but then a large explosion ensues)
Control: Huh?! What was that?!
(More buildings get slashed and explode)
Control: Where is it?! What is it?!
(The control tower gets destroyed)
Control: AAAAHHHH!!! (BOOM)
(The bunkers and sentry turrets and control tower are all leveled, a shuttle takes off)
Plague: Those are doubtlessly holding the workers here, evacuation must be taking place, hmm…(Sees some mobile suits) no, don’t bother with them, I need to get this done quick as possible since I am not armored with gundanium right now. (They leave, Death Scythe X appears, it walks over to one of the mobile suit hangers and crouches down, letting plague out, he floats over to the entrance, shoots some guards and exits the hanger into the main passage. Plague holds up his watch and checks out a map on his watch, turns it off and starts running in some direction, he enters a large room where there is a conveyor belt loading some king of metal into shuttles, shoots guards there too, walks over to one of the shuttles and looks in the cargo, many plates of gundanium sit there.)
Plague: That’s the stuff, lucky there’s already enough on here (shoots some guards that ran in and gets into cover from some more) or I’d be dead trying to load more on.
(Plague runs into the cockpit and places some kind of disk into a slot, then presses a button on his watch and waits)
Plague:……3…2…1
(DSX bursts through the walls and kills all the guards with it’s head machine cannons, Plague gets out of the shuttle, shuts the door and runs to DSX and gets on, he’s in control now. He thrusts away but is hit with a blast form a beam cannon, sees a bunch of Tauruses firing at him)
Plague: Easily handled
(DSX goes invisible and all the dolls are sliced in half one by one till there are none left, DSX reappears and flies away)
Plague: Fighting enemies like this is certanly dull, an enemy with no way of fighting back is not really an enemy to be taken seriously but what other choice do I have? (Pushes a button on his watch)
(Back in the hanger where the shuttle full of gundanium is)
Guard: It was obvious he was after the gundanium but why didn’t he just fly the shuttle away himself?
Guard: He probably put something in (The engines start) OH CRAP!!! EVERYONE DOWN!!!!
(The shuttle takes off, the thruster exhaust incinerates a few people)
(DSX waits patiently, Plague sees a blip on the radar coming right towards him)
Plague: There it is…
(The shuttle comes to a halt about 20 yards away from DSX, DSX goes up to it and grabs it, Plague gets out and attaches a tow line to it from DSX and gets back in, they both jet off)
(Morning, Drake’s repari facility, Drake is looking around)
Drake: Kert? Kert?! Where is he?!
(Drake walks into the main repair bay and sees that Heavy Zero is gone, goes up to the console and sees a note taped down with an envelope, picks it up, it reads (Drake, I thank you for the repairs, even though you said you would do it free of charge I have enclosed $2,000 in the envelop for your services, I hate to leave any depts unfullfilled no matter what.)
Drake: Hmm, we hadn’t reached even 70% when we called it a day, I even disengaged the Super Vernier Packs to make sure he didn’t leave before we’d gotten at least 80% done (pulls out a part from his pocket) and he couldn’t re engage it with out this……
Man: Drake!!! Follow me! (They run into another repair bay, the leos are dissassembled and mostly shells)
Man: That damn kid of yours stole the parts from these leos and left!
Drake: No, he finished upgrading his gundam, and he left us this. (Shows the envelope, Man looks inside)
Man: $2,000!!! That’s not even gonna compensate for these leos!!!
Worker: Hey! Over here!
Drake: (runs over) what is it?
Worker: See for yourself
(Drake walks over to a pile of some sort with a tarp over it, he pulls off the tarp to see about 20 plates of gundanium)
Man:……………That’ll do………………
Drake: (Looks on the envelope, another piece of paper is in it, Drake reads it: P.S. use the gundanium to repair the leos, the extra armor will help if Plague ever traces my repairs to you and attacks.)
Man: Alright! I bet we can get about 25,000 for only half of this stuff!
Drake: No, the kid didn’t leave it here for that
Man: Drake, I don’t really give a damn what the kid said!
Drake: (Grabs the man by the collar) David, he will probably need this to make a future repair, he might die later on because he left it here, and he left it here to give us a chance of fighting in case Plague comes, and if he dies and we sold it and are destroyed because we did, I am going to crack open your skull and break every bone in your body one by one, and all the time you gonna be alive, and your gonna die sloooowly!!!! You do not sell this…clear.
David: (Look of terror) gulp…crystal
(Drake lets him fall to the floor)
Drake: Greed is what gets a lot of people killed, now everyone get to work on these leos with the gundanium!
(They get to work)
(Heavy Zero flies stands on a cliff looking over a valley, Kert sits on the open hatch)
Kert:…Plague…you’re up there, but I’m down here, so how can you kill me. (Gets up) You heard me!!! How’re you gonna kill me up there!!! Come get me!!! (Stares up into the sky, end symbols)
