Episode 7: The Unification of War
(A van and two Aries gurding it are driving up to Drake’s repair facilities, Drake is in the repair bay overlooking the work on HZ when a light beeps on the console. Drake reaches over and pushes a button and David’s face appears on a screen by the console.)
David: Sir, we’ve spotted a van with two Aires bodyguards approaching, in addition to that there are some Leo’s with mobile suit design sniper rifles in the distance.
Drake: hmm, those snipers may just be a precaution, but in this time you can never be too careful…okay, get two Leo II’s up and have them up at the front gate when I get there.
David: Sir…umm, Leo II?
Drake: Yeah, Kert gave me the design and it’s much more efficient than the original, we’ve modified about 4 of them already, they’re in storage bay A1. You’ll recognize them when you see them.
David: Gotcha (Screen goes blank.)
(Drake gets up and walks off.)
(Outside, the van is driving up and Drake with some armed guards and two leo’s stand in waiting. The van drives up and an old man in a white labcoat gets out.)
Drake: Can I help you?
Labman: If I’m not mistaken you are Drake Oliver Floyd.
Drake: What?! How did you know my name?
Labman: I have my sources, I also know that you are harboring a Gundam pilot.
(Drake pull out a gun and sticks it at Labman’s head.)
Drake: What the hell do want with the gundam pilot old man?
(Kert walks outside.)
Kert: Hey what’s all the commotion abou…
Labman: Kert! There you are!
Kert: Doctor T!
DoctorT: We’ve been looking all over for you after that stunt you pulled!
Drake: what the hell is going on?! Could someone please fill me in?
Doctor T: I will, I am the one who trained Kert here and made his mobile suit, the second battle managed to get telecast world wide and I see he made some adjustments.
Kert: It was too focused on long range combat so I added two beam sabers and the large one under the shield.
DoctorT: Wise choice.
Drake: So you are the one who headed up project Savior.
DoctorT: Not really, it was headed by the UESA.
Drake: Whatever, anyone who is a friend of Kert’s is a friend of mine, besides, since you made the suit you might be able to help my men repair it better.
DoctorT: Naturally, sorry about the snipers, I’ve ordered them away and they are coming right now, couldn’t risk it at this stage.
(DoctorT points at a Leo holding a sniper rifle coming their way.)
Drake: Good, we could use the reinforcements. We’re going after Plague.
DoctorT: good move, he already has been beaten twice by Kert so he won’t try it the same way again. But the second fight should’ve been is win, that is if it weren’t for you and your men Drake, by the way Kert, when you first met Plague you told him you fought so no one else would have to, so what convinced you to do so?
Kert: Well, seeing Drake’s men fighting Plague gave me a little revelation, at first I did think I was the only one who could fight him, but now I know that I have to fight to give the world hope, so that they will fight against plague as well. After he is dead, peace will return once again.
(In space, Plague is sitting on a couch in front of a TV in the colony L2, a man walks in.)
Man: Master Plague, the mobile suit will be ready in two days, then we can start our plans.
Plague: Very well, go.
(The man leaves.)
Plague: Well Kert, I see you’ve made quite a reputation for yourself, many forces in the world are taking up the fight against me, but I’ll show you I am not the only one with my beliefs.
(Back on earth, Kert is sitting in front of the Heavy Zero repair bay with DoctorT who is ordering the men around through the speaker.)
DoctorT: These repairs do need some extra work to get it done right, although it would holde together and fight very well as is I want it in full operating condition.
Kert: You always did worry too much about me.
DoctorT: Well, when I suppose a boy I’ve trained for seven years gets into danger one tends to worry.
Kert: Understandable, hey?! What are you doing?!
(DoctorT is majorly changing things in the blueprints.)
DoctorT: Plague ditched his gundam in space, they reported a severely damaged Death Scythe X floated into a colony hanger. That means he is probably upgrading his suit, which means we will have to do that same.
Kert: Good point, well I guess you can go ahead and upgrade it, I wouldn’t let anyone else but you do this.
(Kert walks out. DoctorT looks at the Heavy Zero being repaired in the hangar.)
DoctorT: When I’m done with you you won’t be a mobile suit but a monster capable of beating anything it comes up against.
