Episode 12: The Final Victor, Once Again
(The battle rages on, Tyler sits in the cockpit.)
Tyler: time to go out there and do a little something myself…
(Tyler gets up from the seat and walks off the bridge.)
(Out in the battle, DHX and HZX are ripping up some Virgo Zeta dolls.)
Plague: How many of these do they have dammit?!
Kert: Judging by the size of that space fortress they have plenty more where these came from.
(HZX whirls around and slices open another VZ.)
Plague: We’ve got to take out the fortress, we’ll never get them otherwise…
Kert: Right, but how could we inflict so much damage in the amount of time? Not to mention the fact that the guard is thickening as we speak.
Plague: We’ll just have to die then…
(DHX whirls around and charges HZX with it’s scythe in the air, HZX turns and charges as well.)
(On board Barge II, Tyler is in a mobile suit cockpit.)
Console guy(Over radio.): Sir, the two gundams are fighting each other again.
Tyler: The stupid fools, destroy them!!!
Console guy: Roger.
(Back on the battlefield, HZX and DHX are fighting with the scythe and shields sabers, no one has landed a hit so far. The VZ’s turn towards them and all fire at the same time.)
Kert: Hope this works…
(The beams hit them and there is a HUGE EXPLOSION.)
Drake: No!!! What happened? Is he okay.
(The explosion clears, there is nothing there.)
Drake: NOOOOOO!!! Why’d he do it, that bastard Plague!!! I hope he goes to hell!!!
DoctorT: Really Drake, I don’t see why all this noise is necessary.
Drake: DoctorT, they have both been destroyed!!!
DoctorT: By mobile dolls?! Really, you underestimate even those two. I wouldn’t count them out yet…
(Back on Barge II.)
Console guy: Sir, they’ve been destroyed.
Tyler: Well there are two problems out of our hair, (puts on a helmet like the one on Epyon.) but I can’t help but feel are neck are gonna be put through the wringer any minute. Ok, I’m ready to go.
(The clamps release and a silver mobile suit walks out.)
(In the battlefield.)
Drake: Well DoctorT, I hope whatever they are planning they do soon because we can’t hold them off much longer
(Another Leo II comes out of the hangar.)
Drake: Huh?! Who’s that?!
Quatre: Quatre reporting.
Rasid: Master Quatre, get back in the base, you’ll be slaughtered out here!
Quatre: Nevermind that Rasid, if they take this base now there won’t be any hope, besides this mobile suit is a lot more advanced than the original.
(Quatre’s Leo II pulls out a Dober Mark-II and starts shooting at the VZs)
Drake: Don’t worry Rasid, I think he knows what he’s doing.
(Points the buster rifle, and fires it again destroying some more VZs.)
(At the outer hull of Barge II.)
Console(Over radio to some manned Tauruses patrolling.): This battle will be over soon, keep your eyes open though, hey what’s that? An odd radar blip. Huh?! What happened, my camera’s been taken out!!!
(Suddenly the two suits are sliced in half and explode.)
Plague: That was easy.
Kert: We’re not to the hard part yet.
(The cloak deactivates, DHX was hiding them with it’s cloak and HZX was protecting them with it’s planet defensors. They take off into one of the hangar bays.)
Kert: Good, we’re in, and not even our allies suspect a thing. Where to from here?
Plague: Well, the core is through here (DHX points at a wall.) if we can make it meltdown the entire fortress will go up.
Kert: Good, you’d better do that, the cloak’ll be good for the security around there.
Plague: Yeah but first there’s a long hall way going left and right behind the wall.
Kert: Okay, rip it open, when you’re through tell me and I’ll make for the suit hangars to destroy some of those new suits and even up the odds a little bit, or maybe tip them in our favor…
(DHX takes it scythe and makes a long cut in the wall, then forces it apart making an entrance. The sound of VZ coming is heard.)
Plague: Damn, they must’ve gotten on to us from the Tauruses.
Kert: Then we’ll just have to mow through them!
(HZX steps into the passage and starts shooting at the Vzs with it’s beam gatling. DHX cloaks and HZX dodges the beams sent it’s way. DHX reappears behind the VZs and slices the front line in half then dodges the barrage from behind him. HZX steps into the passage and takes out it’s buster rifle and makes a huge hole in the defense. Jets through and follow DHX which slices down another line of Virgo Zetas.)
Plague: Slice through that wall, it’s down that way.
Kert: Right, seeya!
(HZX stops and tears a cut in the wall then pushes it open and walks through. Starts destroying VZ that have not been activated, slices into another hangar and does the same, slices into another one, it’s empty.)
Kert: What the…
(The lights go out, dead black, a pair of green eyes light up in the darkness and HZX is thrown out of the hangar into the previous one. HZX gets back up.)
Kert: Who…what is that?!
(A large silver mobile suit walks out, it looks a lot like epyon, there is no trace of a handheld sword, but there is a shield on both hands.)
Tyler: So we meet, gundam pilot.
Kert: You?!
Tyler: Pathetic fool, do you really think that a member of the UESA board of military won’t know how to pilot a mobile suit?
(It lifts up on of the shields and a heat rod comes out, it brings it up and swings down on HZX but it misses as HZX rolls to one side and gets up again. Then points it beam gatlings at the new mobile suit.)
Tyler: Do you actually think you can beat me?! You, all battered and bruised while I am untouched thus far.
(The new suit raises up the other shield and points it at HZX, some vulcans pop out of the top and start shooting, HZX holds up one of it’s shields and blocks the hits then retaliates with the remaining shoulder vulcan, the new mobile suit dodges and HZX immediately charges with it’s shield saber, the suit brings up the other shield and blocks the attack with it’s own shield saber. It dodges back then shoots out the heat rod at it then wraps it around the leg and makes HZX trip. HZX looks up to see the shield vulcans at it’s head again.)
Kert: That’s some suit, what do you call it, or should I make a name for it myself?
Tyler: No need to do so, we wish to have a name by our own making, a name which makes people quiver from the mention of it. Epyon Zeta.
(EZ shoots and hits a shield as HZX charges up and pushes EZ back then grabs the buster rifle off it’s back and shoots, the shot goes right past EZ as it dodges and charges again, HZX shoots off the beam gatlings at EZ which zig zags through the barrage and cuts the barrels of the remaining beam gatling in half, HZX dodges back and punches EZ right in the chest knocking it backward, HZX detaches the last beam gatling and activates it’s other shield saber and charges EZ which boosts up again and blocks one saber with it’s own shield saber and the other with it’s shield, EZ shoots off it’s head vulcans and destroys one of HZX’s eyes, leaving only the mechanical stuff beneath it. HZX backs off and it rammed into a wall. EZ retracts the heat rod from the shield and activates a saber on that one too, stabs the remaining shoulder cannons and then brings the saber back for a final blow, but then it looks down into HZXs buster rifle, it’s sent flying back by the beam and HZX is thrown out into space through the wall which had been half broken by HZXs impact with the large recoil from the rifle. HZX lands in another hangar, it falls but recovers and lands on one knee, Kert presses a few buttons on the console and a diagram of the leg pops up, highlighting the damage.)
Kert: Dammit, that leg won’t work anymore, gonna have to get back into space.
(HZX gives a small blasts on it’s boosters and floats back out of the hangar, but then something rips through the wall and charges, HZX boosts up but the thing follows it, it’s a moderately damaged EZ. They both land on the upper hull and stand facing each other.)
Kert: Why did you do it Tyler? The UESA will most surely destroy you after this.
Tyler: After this the UESA won’t be around to destroy me, THEY’LL BE DEAD LIKE YOU!!!
(EZ charges with both it’s sabers, HZX points the buster rifle but it’s batted out of it’s hand before Kert can fire, it flies away and lands on some other part of the hull, HZX slashes with one of it’s sabers and misses then blocks a swing from EZ with it’s shield, HZX fires off the last of it’s missiles and dodges back, EZ gets hit with a few of them and charges again, firing it’s shield vulcans and head cannons, HZX boosts backwards and dodges the shots, then quickly jets forward and slices the arm off of EZ as it slices from below, EZ lands and fires off it’s the remaining shield vulcans which are blocked by HZXs shield, the shield can’t take anymore and a shot goes into the internal structure, hits a battery for the saber causing the shield to explode off HZXs arm, after they both recover from the blows they stand facing each other again.)
Kert: You never answered my question Tyler, why did you do it?
Tyler: Isn’t obvious you fool?! The UESA is nothing but hypocrites, they said they would bring peace, but war has sprang out TWICE after that! Including this time. They cannot establish peace because they do not know how! We do, and we will destroy them if that is what it takes to make them realize their incompetence!
(EZ tries to fire the shield vulcans but they are out, so are the head cannons, HZX is all out of ammo too.)
Kert: So it comes down to this…
(They both charge each other and clash the sabers with a burst of electricity, they both jet back and strike again, the battle continues…)
(Down in the Barge II reactor, plague is slicing up a lot of VZs, the when he sees an opening he jets up and puts a nice slice into the reactor core, the makes a large hole in the hull above and jets out through it, the room is engulfed with a huge amount of electricity bolts and the core starts to melt down. DHX looks down as it flies away, then sees something. Goes down quickly to investigate it.)
Plague: What?! It’s the buster rifle off of Heavy Zero. He’ll probably be needing this…
(DHX grabs up the rifle and flies away to the other side. The core explodes and everything’s around is surrounded with blinding light.)
(Back over by the lunar base.)
Drake: What the hell is that?! I can’t see!
DoctorT: What did I tell you? Never EVER leave him out of the game.
Quatre: What, you mean HE did that?
DoctorT: Who else.
(The explosion clears, sight is restored. Only half of the fortress is destroyed.)
(Back on the remaining hull of Barge II where EZ and HZX are still at it.)
Kert: Don’t you see that the fortress has been destroyed?! It’s all over Tyler!!!
Tyler: NOT UNTIL YOU DIE!!!!!!!
(With a seemingly large burst of energy EZ stabs HZX right through the leg and whirls around the points it’s other saber straight at it’s head.)
Tyler: And now, the match is mine, bridge, damage report.
Console guy (Over radio): Everything is down but life support, which is failing, and communications and boosters which are at about 70%
Tyler: Order the boosters at full on a collision course with the moon.
Console: Roger sir.
Tyler: Now to claim my prize!
(EZ brings back the saber and is about to stab HZX destroying it when something pulls it back and throws it backwards. EZ gets back up.)
Tyler: What the hell was that?
Plague: The hell, indeed.
Tyler: You?!
(the beam wings appear in the darkness and DHX comes into focus.)
Kert: Looks like your plan didn’t work too well Plague.
Plague: You’ll have to finish the job.
(DHX throws the rifle to HZX, who catches it.)
Kert: Mission accepted…(couldn’t resist.lol.)
(HZX flies off. EZ tries to give chase but is tackled by DHX.)
Plague: I’ve got more of a bone to pick with you than you do with him!
(They start dueling, DHX looks like it has the upper hand.)
(Back in the battlefield, all the VZs are destroyed.)
Drake: Now where the hell is Kert? Was he in there when it exploded?
Rasid: What’s that?!
(A small twinkle, then HZX quickly comes into view.)
Quatre: Kert! You made it!
Drake: I knew that Plague bastard wouldn’t kill you!
Kert: That Plague bastard you just referred to is keeping a new type of mobile suit off my heels. Gimme that rifle!
(HZx boosts up to Drake and grabs the rifle then looks over at the Barge II)
Drake: Well are you gonna destroy it or what?
Kert: DoctorT, how long can we safely wait?
DoctorT(over radio): about two minutes, after that the explosion will wipe us all out.
Kert: You’ve got two minutes Plague, use them wisely…
(Back at the battle on Barge II, DHX is charging EZ who blocks with it’s shield saber and jets backwards, DHX fires off the drill cannons but they are dodges as EZ charges again and almost connects when DHX brings one of the beam wings up front and blocks, then shoots the cannons at points blank and sends EZ flying backward, it recovers.)
Tyler: Why are you trying to beat me Plague? Don’t you know that even if you do you will be destroyed?!
Plague: If I kill you myself I won’t need to go on as I won’t have any other thing to do in this life.
Tyler: Well in that case, I’LL SEE YOU IN HELL!!!
(They both charges each other, just when they are about to collide the buster rifle beam from both twin rifles on HZX come through and cause the rest of the fortress to explode.)
(Back at the base.)
Kert: I hope he made it.
Drake: Wouldn’t be undeserving for it even if he didn’t.
(The explosion clears, and there is nothing but darkness.)
Rasid: Looks like he didn’t…
(Greens eyes light up in the darkness.)
Kert: No! Did Tyler make it?!
(The beam wings appear, then DHX comes into focus.)
Kert: Plague! You made it!
Drake: Damn……er…good, Damn good.
Kert: What happened to Tyler?
(DHX holds up the head of EZ.)
Kert:……you’re sick Plague.
Plague: Well I guess that reflects upon my nature, now rather than using my urge to fight on this world, therefore destroying it, I’d rather use it on those who threaten this world, but I don’t think the UESA will believe that in a million years, so I’ll have to destroy this suit and disappear myself.
(DHX disappears with it’s cloak.)
Kert: Goodbye, my friendly nemesis.
Narrator: It is the year AC 203, peace has returned to the world once again, and the decision to destroy Kertani Williams was cast down, seeing as the motion was put before the board by a criminal. However the Gundam Heavy Zero X has still been destroyed. DoctorT, Rasid, Drake, and Quatre were meritoriously awarded for their efforts in the battle as well as Drake’s men and the Magunac Corp.
Epilogue
Kertani Williams- He was greatly awarded for his efforts, has moved into a house somewhere in Los Angeles CA. His mobile suit was destroyed on November 12, AC 203.
DoctorT- Was also recognized for his efforts, and know has a steady job at the UESA colonial research division.
Drake- Drake and his men have been employed by the UESA as the best known mobile suit repair team.
Rasid- returned along with the Magunac corp to their Arabian homelands and now enjoy a peaceful life.
Quatre- never got a break, after the incident he immediately went back to covering and working out the many aspects of the colonies.
Plague- the UESA still considers Plague a wanted criminal but have not been able to locate him ever since…
(A desert somewhere, DHX is standing there, a shadowy figure is standing atop a cliff above, he reaches into his trenchcoat and pulls out a remote device then pushes the button, DHX explodes, there is nothing left but scrap metal. The guy walks away…)
Plague: Farewell, my friend.
(Plague walks away out of view.)
