I Want You To Be The Next Ace Rimmer!
In the episode "Dimension Jump" in series IV Ace Rimmer made his first appearance. Ace was from an Alternate Dimension. His life change from our Rimmer when he was 7 years old, in his dimension he was kept back a year at school, which (due to the humiliation of being a clear foot taller than everyone else in the class) caused him to fight back and become a high achiever. Ace real name is Arnold J. Rimmer our Rimmer but he got he nickname Ace from school.
Ace Rimmer favorite qoate is "Stoke me a Clipper, I'll be back for breakfirst!".
Our Rimmer thinks Ace like this "smug, self-satisfied git".
In the episode "Emohawk - Polymorph II" A polymorph
sucks out Rimmer's bitterness, his negativity and slurps out all his snideyness.
Rimmer then
become the great Ace Rimmer!
In the episode "Stoke Me A Clipper" in series VII Ace Rimmer return and we saw one oh his heroic adventures. But he was injured an quickly jumped to another dimension, of course our Lister, Kryten, Cat and Rimmer dimension. Rimmer learned that Ace Rimmer were dying and not the same Ace Rimmer he met last. He caught the business end of a neutron tank in Dimension 165. And part of the legend is to train another Rimmer from another dimension to become the next Ace Rimmer and saving all the dimensions from evil. That is becuase Ace have come here, his hard-light drive is loosing power and he says he only got so much time left as him having sex about 12 hours. Rimmer leave the room and don't answer if he want to be the next Rimmer but Lister says it is his destiny. Arnold becames the next Ace Rimmer when Ace Rimmer dies. Later when they learn that is has been billions of Ace Rimmer. The episode ends with Rimmer as Ace leaves and says "Stoke me a Clipper, I’ll be back for Christmas!".
