Comment: Hello. My name is Melissa, and I have been making anime outfits since AWA 3. Until 2000 all my outfits were handsewn, but I finally have started to learn how to use a sewing machine - so costume creation has increased drastically. My first cosplay outfits were made about 12 years ago, they were for Star Trek. On the rare occasion, I might purchase a costume then repair & alter it to fit me for hallcostuming. I hope to set up a little page soon where I can say a few comments about the making of a couple of these costumes.
