Sailing

There is really nothing quite like the feeling of sailing through the open waters of mother ocean.  The sound of  the waves as they curl around your boat.....the smell of the cleanest air on earth....the feeling of the absolute vastness of the size of the oceans of our world when you are offshore and can see only water in every direction you look....all these things are what makes sailing so exciting for me.  Below are some pictures and links that I have put together for your enjoyment.  Happy sailing!

One of the many pleasures of sailing is the fun of testing your skills against other sailors in club racing programs.  Here you see a fleet approaching a starting line, all trying to gain advantage and be at the line first.

With the wind at their backs, these three boats hoist their huge colorfull spinaker sails.

Notice the almost trasparent Jibs(forward sails) of these hybred racing yachts.

Congratulations to the McKee brothers for their bronze medal win in the 407 event in the 2000 olympics.
