Entries being organised
Organisers have announced that there are 128 entries for the 13th National Indoor Archery Championships.  Chairman, Tom Jorgensen said, "This will be the biggest of the five Indoor Nationals we have held in Adelaide since 1999."  Next year, ARCHERY AUSTRALIA will be trialling an Indoor Nationals format, which sees archers competing in their local area and submitting scores over the Internet, in an effort to further increase participation.

Archers are advised target allocations are pending and should be known in the next few days.  In addition, please note, the competitor number previously allocated during the intial registration process will change - archers will be advised the new number well in advance.

Healthy Entries Forecast Good Competition
To date, 113 entries have been received.  Organisers are now working on the target allocations.  It should be noted, the Competitor Number assigned on the confirmation letter is a temporary number.  Once the database has been cleaned up, new Competitor numbers will be provided at registration.

OK, So We Lied a Little!
Entries didn't actually close on 23rd April - it was a date to encourage the majority of you to register early (and that has been achieved!).  And doesn't it feel good, knowing that you are entered and will be well prepared!  The real close is related to entries posted after 15th May - then the late entry fee will be applied (that's an additional $24).  Time's running out and we're almost full - there will be three flights each day; so don't delay.

On another matter, we are definitely not lying when we say that you can win a 2005 Hoyt recurve or compound bow of your choosing in a raffle to be drawn on the Saturday night (16th July).  Raffle tickets at just $2 each are available at Clubs in SA now and will be on sale at The Parks venue.

ARCHERY ACADEMY is Principal Sponsor Once More!
In conjunction with HoytUSA, ARCHERY ACADEMY is again the principal sponsor for the Australian Indoor Nationals.  As this is the last time that Adelaide will be hosting the Australian Indoor Championships as part of a commitment made in a submission to Archery Australia in 1999, it is perhaps fitting that ARCHERY ACADEMY should consolidate its strong support for this event for a fifth time.

And just a reminder about entries - you can pay by credit card or direct debit and entries close 23rd April - avoid disappointment and don't be late!  Remember, last year's event was just about chokka, so don't leave your entry to the last minute.
