Environment: We will be in the classroom, the students in pairs and in rows. Some student pairs will not work together to come up with answers, so when I am doing think-pair-share, I need to make sure that pairs are sharing. |
c) Resources: Students will need notebooks and a writing tool. Teacher will need the board and chalk; maybe an overhead. Notes of the rebellion. |

what may have happened after the Red River Rebellion.

to lecture and take notes. Students are to answer general comprehension
questions and predictive type of questions as we move along. |

a) Consolidation of
Learning: Have students repeat the cause, events, and result of the rebellion. Hand out timeline rubric and explain in detail my level three expectations. |
b) Application / Reaction: Students will use the information received from lecture and in their notes to create a timeline comparing the northwest rebellion to the red river rebellion using a comparison timeline, and the three main headings, Causes, Events, and Results. |

Students
will be assessed on their timeline project due Monday as well as on the
unit test.
