A long time ago, when we were toddlers, Aden and I escaped Catalan together. It was the night the Red Dragon invaded, and the night we almost died. I didn't see Aden for years after that, although I thought plenty about that night. The next time we met up was when the Guardians were formed. I thought he was cute, but we far too different from me for a relationship. I went through my string of short relationships and he courted Mia. Once in the Phoenix House, we started spending a lot of time together in the office and we became friends. Close friends. And apparently we fell in love at some point along the way. Eventually, we decided to try our hands at a relationship. Despite the odds, it worked and now we're engaged, expecting our first child. He's my everything. |
