My History |

I was at a party one night, and I was bored with it. I was hanging by the doorway, debating whether or not I should leave. Just then, someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and there was one of the most handsome men I had ever seen up close. He was older than me, maybe twice my age, but that simply made him look dignified. He asked me to dance, and I eagerly agreed. We ended up spending the night together

That was the start of a whirlwind romance. Gavin was respectful, charming, handsome, and he seemed to be completely infatuated with me. In fact, I couldn’t have been happier. That is, until Dagmar did some research and found out Gavin’s little secret. He was happily married, and had been so for about fifteen years. Logic told me that I should have walked away right then and there, but in the end, I couldn’t. He apologized and often told me that someday, he would leave his wife and the two of us would be together. However, then my brother interfered.
Philip had picked up a couple of nasty habits over his teenage years, namely drinking and whoring. Whatever time I had left between Gavin and my social life was devoted to running around town, picking up Phil’s tabs at various taverns. One night, Phil and Gavin happened to meet up at the Boar’s Head, a popular bar outside North Castle City. They ended up getting into a fist fight, and Gavin was pummeled. After a good amount of threats from Phil, he broke up with me that night. I didn’t see Gavin again for a long time, until one day he showed up and proposed to me. I said I needed some time to think about it, but he and his wife were killed before I ever had a chance to answer him. |

Not long afterwards, my friends and I were all proved wrong. The Red Dragon set his sights on Hyrule. And that was when my life changed forever. Somehow, my drunken lout of a brother was selected to lead a group of rebels that would fight the Red Dragon. Along with him were the Fanel siblings: Mia, Jesse, and Sito, my sometimes sister Tranns, an Andorian named Ariadne, and Aden Barr, whom we had escaped Catalan with so long ago. Philip requested that I come along. I agreed, simply because I had nothing better to do with my time. I ended up finding my cause.
We were sent back in time, when most of us had been toddlers. Working out of an old, abandoned tavern, we altered history so that the Red Dragon would never rise. And for the first time in years, I felt myself caring. Caring about what we had done, caring about the people we’d helped, and caring about the friends I had made. Caring about Jesse Fanel, whom I shared some kisses with. |

Aden was elected our leader when Phil resigned. Soon, others began joining us, until the original eight Guardians were a minority. Believe me, there have been bumps along the way. For instance, getting kidnapped by Felsen, an Ebene king, and impregnated. But it worked out okay, since now I have Isabelle and Chandler. Another bump was my relationship with Kazuo. My boyfriend, almost fiancé, who ended up being an evil black magik addict. He was our second black magik addict, however, as Aden of all people had been the first. Somehow, through this, he ended up losing control of the house and I got it. Go figure!
So what happens now? Well, that’s what I’m waiting to find out. |
