GPS
Here at Adrian College I have taken two courses that provide information about GPS, and more importantly first hand experience with it: ESS 499 GPS/GIS taught by Dr. Craig Weatherby, and Chem 299 Computers in Science taught by Dr. Todd Hamilton.
Both classes used Trimble GPS recieveres and control station to gain experience and understanding of how the system works. In ESS 499 the system is currently being used to locate the range area of campus birds. In Chem 299 GPS was used to map an area of campus.
