Daily Journal Continued... |
Ninth Week: Nov. 13th, 2000 |
Blake did okay in school and at home this week. He fluctuated between anger, crying spells and frustration but eventually could pull himself together. He refused to take his nutrients one day and seems to be resenting the intake required. I will be calling synergy and updating them on his current and recent past behaviors to see if the Risperdal should be, once again...reduced. |
Thirteenth Week: Dec. 11th, 2000 |
Against my wishes, Blakes doctor, teacher and my husband have decided to place Blake back on Risperdal and discontinue the use of the nutrients. I was hoping for more endurance from these people but their patience is wearing thin. Based on Blakes "cycles" and the extent of his disorder it would possibly take another 3 months to even see significant improvement, if any at all. Though I fear the long term effects of the Risperdal on Blakes kidneys, we have no other choice if we want him to remain stable and improve. |
