Introduction
Sometimes things happen... and your direction is changed toward a new choice or goal. There are also events in life that take you into an area of the inner-self... thereby giving a learnnig and/or an education that can't be beat!

My travels to the world of entertainment and showbusiness was not exactly my original plan... but who am I to complain? The nature of this field can be the difference between night and day. The beckning of Hollywood and the film industry that makes it... is an experience that I will cherish... not so much working in front or behind the camera... but the many people and faces I have/had the pleasure to meet!

August 8, 2003...
I grew up in The Fordham Section of The Bronx in New York. Just North of Manhattan Island.
In Pre-Hollywood days... the hustle and bustle of the film industry had it's young beginnings there. The remnant of Pre-Hollywood Fordham was an interest to me on a historical point of view.  The abandoned shell of The Edison Studio (Later sold to D.W. Griffith at it's hey day) betwixt the homes and apartments of Bedford Park (North Fordham) or the sound of the wreaking ball as it hit what was left of The Biograph Studios made local conversation. The oldtimes were gone... but the stories prevailed by those that were a part of it.

My goal was to get a masters degree in social studies... and my involvement with The Bronx County Historical Society sprinkled my interest in local history that few really knew. Due to a series of unexpected personal events... my life would find it's way to California.
The turning point for me was in 1973... and I never looked back so to speak. A series of events lead me to the California West Coast... not so much Hollywood. My love of History brought me to this place. Because of my so called hobby... an actor friend suggested that I could be an excellant 'Historical Re-Enactor-Performer'.
My first exposure was about 1979... when I visited an event called "The Rennaisance Pleasure Faire" With the exposure I had of "Living History"... I was hooked (line and sinker). From the 80's and half of the early 90's... I experimented and developed a few re-enactment characters up and down California, all based on historical periods of the time.. The fun and educational entertainment was OK... and my look toward Hollywood was a distant image... oh so I thought. In the Mid-90's, A fellow actor came to me and said that Disney Productions were looking for character-looking characters for a historical period movie. In a lark... I joined him to my first Hollywood casting call (Yep... It was a cattle call), and I thought the chances of getting picked was a chinaman's chance... (no dis-respect to anyone Asian).

Well... the rest is History. Enjoy what I have to share, and the comment I will make from time to time.

ENJOY!
