Gate Keepers is a unique fast paced anime, taking place in the past. It has comedy and action combined. Expect to see revived classic machines blended with hi-tech as well.

The year is 1969, and Japan is experiencing the advantages of rapid economic development. Little did they know of the presence of Invaders, unknown life forms that have taken the form of human beings. They have existed after the end of World War II and since then they have been destructive. It's up to A.E.G.I.S. Far East Branch, a part of the secret Earth Defense Organization to defend Japan against the evil aliens. A.E.G.I.S. discovers their weakness against drawable gate power from an alternate time and space. It so happens that Gate Keepers are the only ones who can draw it. A.E.G.I.S. searches for Gate Keepers and recruits them to protect the world's future.
