Mr. Matsuda was speeding his truck while being followed by Invader cannon balls. Bancho started to panic and shook Megane. Bancho demanded to use Shun's power against the balls. Megane shook Bancho back and refused. Fei, who was just above the truck, agreed with Megane. Their captain and the Gate Robo were their only last hope. Fei was ready to fight and so was Reiko. Fei would not allow any loved ones to disappear and Reiko would become a good witch for everyone. Fei prepared on the truck's back compartment, where the robot was covered. Reiko followed and started playing her portable piano that made a cliff illusion. Invader cannon balls started falling down the cliff. After accumulating enough power, Fei unleashed her Fire Dragon breaking down remaining Invader cannon balls. The truck speeded away. -Episode title embedded: "For Tomorrow's Smile..."-Reiji was still giving a speech nation wide when a girl (one of Aya, Isogai, Takanashi trio) whispered to Reiji about their incoming enemy. Reiji required the media crew to continue outside because they may broadcast something interesting.More Invader cannon balls ran after Mr. Matsuda's truck. Fei and Reiko had used up their stamina yet they continued fighting. Shun appeared from the truck compartment and offered to handle the Invaders. Kaoru who was with Shun would not allow him. Kaoru said Shun should only fight Reiji or else she would be sorry for Ruriko. Suddenly, the Invader cannon balls casted smaller cannon balls at them. Shun and Kaoru managed to dodge. A small cannon ball hit the truck and Fei screamed. Reiko called Fei but there was no answer. Reiko's inherent power was amplified with her emotions. An illusion of a golf course was formed and the Invader cannon balls were enticed into a golf hole. The Invader cannon balls (golf balls at that time) collected to one hole until they burst. Reiko cried, thinking that Fei was dead. Fei called Reiko who was just lying within the truck compartment. Fei was not even wounded. ^_^; Fei remarked Reiko was incredible when she snapped. Reiko asked what 'snapped' meant. ^__^;;; Reiji whistled that called the huge one-eyed spitz — Cyclops! Cyclops jumped from behind Diet Building and went for the Gate Keepers Party. Bancho shrieked when he saw Cyclops again. Kaoru volunteered to fight it. Kaoru jumped off the truck and met up with Cyclops. Kaoru gave it a hard kick making Cyclops temporarily unconscious. Shun tried to reach out for Kaoru's hand but Kaoru wanted them to hurry to Diet Building. Shun called Mr. Matsuda to stop the car and Kaoru angrily told Shun that he should be honest with his feelings. Kaoru knew how Shun wanted so much to destroy Reiji all because of Ruriko. After that, Kaoru encouraged Shun he could do it. The truck was finally out of sight. But then Bancho ran to Kaoru. Cyclops woke up right behind Kaoru and was about to swallow her... The truck stopped when the Invader Centipedes were blocking the way to Diet Building. The Centipedes reformed into a Massive Wall. Fei even said it was way bigger than Great Wall of China! A YS-11 zoomed. A discharging of electricity destroyed the Massive Wall. The Gray Gate Robo 03 appeared. Misao calculated the location of an enemy. Jim went to the direction unseen. Invader Underground Diggers that just appeared had already holes. The Underground Diggers also disappeared. What speed! Shun was surprised to see Jim, Misao, and Jun. Jun said they'd better thank Shirei. YS-11 was just above, Shirei and Ochiai were in it. Shirei informed Shun that they would take care of the enemies so he'd better hurry to Shadow. Shun affirmed Shirei's instruction. Shun and Gate Robo 0 has finally arrived in Diet Building. Reiji Kageyama was just waiting outside. Bancho caught Cyclops' jaws and stopped it from swallowing Kaoru. Bancho was now in danger. Bancho could not hold on to Cyclop's jaws. Kaoru helped but Bancho was swallowed. Kaoru cried and began punching Cyclops. From Cyclops' stomach, Bancho's voice was heard. "GATE OYABUN!" (gate gang chief) Unexpectedly, Bancho had a real power within. Bancho forced open Cyclops' mouth. "GIVE ME POWER!" Bancho jumped off and took Cyclops by the head. "HYPER INSIDE CIRCLE THROW!" With such tremendous power, Bancho threw Cyclops far away, this time dead-unconscious. Kaoru was surprised with what Bancho had done. Nonetheless, Kaoru ran to Bancho and gave him an embrace. Bancho smiled >comically< and revealed a missing tooth. Reiji insulted Shun and then he started sunlight-deprivation. Countless Invader Planes appeared in the sky. Invader planes stretched like black clouds and covered the azure. Everyone feared it. After that, Reiji summoned his Jet-black Robot. "Open the Gate!" Jet-black Robot rose from the ground. Ruriko was still in the green substance, still under Megumi's custody. Megumi had an evil look. The green substance started to boil and Ruriko slowly became conscious. Ruriko's eyes were not normal, there were black rings circling it. Jet-black Robo continuously offensed while Gate Robo defended. The reporter just broadcasted what was happening but called Reiji Kageyama, the good Prime Minister and Shun, a rebel. Reiji began an angry speech while continually attacking. Reiji explained the real origin of Invaders. According to Reiji, Invaders were not from outerspace, they were paracreatures that multiply by eating endless human desires. Reiji blamed humans for inviting Invaders. Gate Robo 0 received all damage and had not even hurt Jet-black Robo. Angrily, Shun gave Reiji an uppercut but it missed. Reiji laughed at Shun's unsuccessfulness. Jet-black Robo released black whips and began to strangle Gate Robo 0. Reiji continued to enjoy it and perceived that the future would be pitch black. What Reiji wanted was to crush the 'bugs' that trampled him when he was young. Reiji continued to maneuvre his robot to destroy Gate Robo 0. Gate Robo 0 had already lost an arm but it was not enough. Jet-black Robo squeezed Gate Robo 0 tightly with its whips. Shun felt the pain of his robot. The reporter changed the phase of his report. The reporter pleaded red robot to defeat the black robot. Saemi was watching closely on TV. Jet-black robo had gone far enough. The whips pierced Gate Robo's body and took the Gate Engine. The Gate Engine was hanging loosely. "Otochan's Engine!" Shun cried (if you had not noticed in ep 24 he called his father oyaji [one's old man] now its otochan!] Shun hit a red button and the Gate Robo's head got off. (emergency exit button?) Jet-black robo attacked the headless robot more. Gate Robo's chassis was destroyed and the exhausted Shun was revealed inside. Saemi could not believe she was seeing her brother. Kazuko asked Saemi if she had forgotten how her brother looked like. "Don't give up brother!" Saemi said. Gate Robo was hit again, resulting to the complete separation of Gate Engine. Shun jumped off the skinless robot and went to the fallen engine. Shun banged and demanded the engine to work. (asking his father if that's just it) The important parts of the robot's dashboard reacted and greatly increased output shown. Shun realized it and looked up to Reiji. Reiji finally called out Megumi. Megumi and Ruriko rose from the ground. Shun was happy to see Ruriko. Megumi started manipulating Ruriko. Black rings began circling Ruriko's eyes. Reiji said everyone had hatred in the depths of their heart. Shun could not believe it. Reiji even 'enlightened' Shun more and said it was Ruriko's Gate of Genocide, opposite of her Gate of Life. "Don't do it Rurippe!" Shun pleaded. Ruriko spoke with empty emotion saying no one knew how good she really was. Ruriko opened an external black gate. The others watching could not believe it. Ruriko prepared to kill those who called her sniveler and that was Shun. Her bow appeared in her hands and said she was not a sniveler. "Idiot! I would have never gave you my treasure if I really hated you!" Shun said to Ruriko. < Flashback> Shun was happy he was able to make a godzilla-like toy (the treasure...-_-;) from wood. Shun gave it to Ruriko as a goodbye gift when he was leaving the neighborhood. < Flashback> No matter what, for Shun Ruriko was Rurippe, his most favorite person. A black arrow appeared in Ruriko's hand. Ruriko's emptiness was focused on killing Shun. Shun could not do anything but look down. The black arrow was released and was dashing through Shun's heart. However, the emotionless Ruriko realized something. With Ruriko's will, the dark arrow bursted into yellow light. Shun realized it was the Light of Life. Ruriko regained her normal self and uttered Shun's name. After that she fell on the ground. Shun came to Ruriko and called her. Reiji asked for Megumi's explanation. Megumi said she lost Ruriko's only hatred when Shun revealed his true feelings. Reiji revealed he was just using Megumi. Megumi admitted another defeat against Ruriko. Shun stood up from Ruriko's side and called Reiji angrily. Shun would not tolerate anymore manipulation from Reiji. Shun's pocket wooden sword extended as he prepared to attack. Fast wind was collected by the sword. Shun jumped to the Jet-black robo and yelled a new attack's name, "Ultra Whirlwind Thrust!" Shun pointed the sword through Jet-black Robo's hand and penetrated it. Reiji could not believe Shun was able to summon such tremendous power. The Gate Engine was also reacting to Shun's power and because of it, Gate Engine exploded. From Jet-black Robo's hand, Shun's sword went through the arms and through the heart. Jet-black was forced-open and was destroyed into metallic black pieces. Shun took Reji by his coat and was crying to him. Shun said Reiji was not really like that. The vacuum that was created from Shun's power (maybe) was absorbing anything evil. Reiji gave off a faint smile and kicked Shun off and allowed himself to be absorbed by the vacuum hole. Shun fell somewhere. The Reiji-girls trio (Aya, Isogai, and Takanashi) were holding to each other, Megumi was protecting the unconscious Ruriko, and Bancho was protecting the Gate Keepers. Saemi ran to the door to find her brother. Yukino appeared outside. Saemi cried to Yukino about her brother and Yukino assured her that her brother was fine. All the Invaders, including Reiji were nowhere to be seen. Shun stood up and walked to Ruriko but he fell to his knees before he could reach her. Ruriko awakened (btw, Megumi was nowhere to be seen) and saw Shun. Ruriko rose and rushed to Shun and caught him before he completely fell. The Gate Keepers, Bancho, and Megane rushed to Shun. Each of them called him. Shun apologized to Ruriko for not finding her earlier. Shun went unconscious. Ruriko cried and finally confessed that she really loved him. Along with her tears and confession was a release of her gate of life. Yukino gave off the last of her verses, "Spring is in the air. Bright future is seen in the mountains." -Hospital scenes- Just outside a hospital room were AEGIS Soldiers and two kids wearing AEGIS shirts. The Gate Keepers Party (with Bancho and Megane, minus Megumi) were talking about Shun's recovery. The girls got in a talk about Ruriko kissing Shun.
