Trivia from Chou
Nuriko [GateKeepers
Lyrics Database] [GateKeepers
PlayStation Database]:
In the Anime, Ukiya noticed Ruriko was his childhood friend at the beginning.
But in the game, it seems like he can't remember this fact,
even Ruriko's been dropping hints all over the game...
- Ukiya did not seem to forget Ruriko being his childhood
friend. He had TOTALLY FORGOTTEN
about it until Ruriko remind him (he only remember befriend
with a girl whom he called Rurippe and her being a crybaby)!
Ukiya no baka!!!!!!
- In the anime, Ruriko would glare, yell, even beat up Ukiya when he calls her Rurippe. But in the game, she didn't glare/yell/hit him. At least, not for that Rurippe business...
- In the Anime, Kaoru, Reiko and Megumi joined AEGIS after Ukiya. But in the game, it's opposite (and switch Megumi to Misao). Ruriko's still the first one to join.
- The game starts in March instead of May in the Anime
- Bancho is an original character for the Anime.
- Shirei is a GateKeeper of Time and Space in this game!
- (added apr 14 04) (used with
permission from Bernard Nikklajs Dalay) Remember
Gebba, Chinami's UFO catcher toy in GK21? Well, I just found
an interesting resemblance between Gebba and a big, cartoon-like,
haracter/statue in the 2nd stage of the gatekeepers PlayStation
game. They are both yellow, have white helmets with green
lines and a cross, they both have round eyes, same color shoes
and gloves etc. I'm pretty sure that they used that design
for Gebba because, other than the fact that the one in the
game is a bit less-round, they are almost exact copies!
Gebba from game, and the actual Gebba
