• 1: Begin Earth Defense! - Before Shun Ukiya, mysterious Invaders appear. Shun awakes his power as a GateKeeper. Along the way, he meets Ruriko Ikusawa, a childhood friend 10 years ago.
  
  
• 2: Stand Up For Peace! - Shun who has awakened his ability is scouted by AEGIS. That means that he should transfer to Tategami School, where AEGIS base hides. Transferring to Tategami means he would be living in a dormitory, away from his family. He hesitates because he does not want to be like his father who dies neglecting his family. However, Invaders appear in Shinjuku where his mother and sister are. Shun rescues them then makes a decision.
  
  
• 3: Play The Dazzling Melody! - Shun and Ruriko are on a mission to investigate and protect (against Invaders) a GateKeeper candidate. Their candidate is Reiko Asagiri, who plays the piano that produces illusion. If she's truly a GateKeeper, Shun and Ruriko checks.
  
  
• 4: Finding a New Warrior! - Shun and the others head to Himeji Castle to scout a new GateKeeper. They find Choutarou Banba alias Bancho, their candidate, who appears to only have strong fists. As they meet up with Bancho, they know of Invaders' involvement with a salt industry. They investigate the salt industry with Bancho, along the way he is of great help with his bare fists.
  
  
• 5: Run Towards Your Dream! - Kaoru Konoe gives up her dream to become an Olympian, when she realizes that her power is not of hardwork but of extraordinary power. She declines AEGIS' offer to become a GateKeeper. Then, she comes face to face with Invaders. She realizes that her hardwork have meaning with earth defense jobs.
  
  
• 6: Infiltrate the Girls' Dormitory of Terror! - GateKeepers needs a captain. In order to prove each of themselves worthy to become a captain, they try to solve the case of a forbidden room in Violet Dormitory.
  
  
• 7: Ukiya-taichou's first official mission is to meet up with a Gate Keeper from Shanghai who happened to have trailed an Invader plane. However, the Shanghai Gate Keeper failed to catch up with the Invader plane and had to seek the help of AEGIS Far East Branch to search for the lost plane. When Shun meets with the Shanghai Gate Keeper, the plane appears in Haneda Airport, opposite the airport they are at. They head to Haneda Airport to prevent the Invader plane to take off to the skies and cause more damage.
  
  
• 8: Find the Invader! - Megumi Kurogane had treated Ruriko Ikusawa as her rival ever since. Her only advantage over Ruriko was she was the favorite of their History Teacher. However the History teacher appears to be someone unexpected.
  
  
• 9: Break the Pitch Dark Gate! - After the realization of killing a fellow human being, Shun became emotionally unstable. A new boy in school by the name of Reiji Kageyama provoked Shun's emotional state more. Moreover, another Invader ally appears and happens to be a Gate Keeper.
  
  
• 10: Get Over the Devil's Dream! - Apollo 11 lands safely to earth, thanks to the help of GateKeepers. After the fight, the true scheme of the Invader reveals. The Invader controls the weakness and hidden desires of the GateKeepers. Shun and the others are transported to "hell" that turns out to be an enjoying one. Or is it?
  
  
• 11: Stop that Bullet Train! - Another Invader staff shows up. This Invader has the ability to join with machines and convert it into a destroyer. This time, it takes control of the Shinkansen and plans to crash it to Tokyo Station. However, one of the passenger of the train turns out to be Shun.
  
  
• 12: Fly to the Northern Lands! - Shun and Ruriko are on a mission to search for the cargo plane that disappeared in the mountains. They happen to have encountered the Invaders. WHen they are about in a dangerous situation, a girl rescues them with the gate of ice and snow.
  
  
• 13: Bring Down, Two of the Powerful Invader Staff! Part 1 - Three GateKeepers from different countries visit AEGIS Far East Branch. From England, is Jim; from America, is Jun; and from Germany, is Misao. They are on a mission to eliminate the Invader staffs. The three happens to be more experienced than Shun's team. Shun and company will not allow the International Gate Keepers to overwhelm them, and they are to show off their ability to them.
  
  
• 14: Bring Down, Two of the Powerful Invader Staff! Part 2 - Shun and the others have been a problem with Jim's team, so Jim asks Shirei to send them on vacation. Again, Invader staffs attack, this time with a powerful weapon. Ruriko who's not patient joins the fight. But she just gives more problem. In order to rescue them, Shun appears with the Gate Robot, a reckless prototype.
  
  
• 15: Ruin an Arranged Marriage! - Miss Ochiai is going to be married to someone she does not love. Her grandmother chose a guy for her. Ruriko does not agree with it. Miss Ochiai's fiance turns out to be an unexpected person.
  
  
• 16: Sally Forth, Gate Robo! - GateKeepers have been always chased by the Invaders. Reiko hasn't contributed that much in the team. She finds herself useless and tries hard to be useful. Somehow, she perseveres. With her effort she made a difference.
  
  
• 17: Fly Down Your Own Road! - Miss Ochiai's on vacation with a college friend. Shirei discovers something so he follows Miss Ochiai. In this episode, Shirei's past is revealed.
  
  
• 18: Protect the Invader!? - Fei feels a strong attachment with the old man who sells yams. Fei finds similarity between him and her grandfather. However, GateKeepers discover electric wave around the area, where the old man is living in. Fei defends the old man and will fight Shun if she should.
  
  
• 19: Listen to the Opinion of the Youth! - Reiji Kageyama is invited on an open debate. In front of everyone, he speaks radically. Invaders appear and cause confusion.
  
  
• 20: Leap into the New Year! - Saemi gets angry with Shun for not coming to New Year. She visits Tategami to ask for his reason. Shirei allows Shun and others to have their vacation. Everyone spends their vacation in Shun's house. Saemi befriends Yukino and confesses her secrets to her.
  
  
• 21: Protect the Festival of Progress and Harmony - Ruriko's father had a fortunate work at Osaka for the International Expo. But there was a plan against it, and Invaders are using Ruriko's father as a bait for their plans. Ruriko was the target, and she must fight herself in order to turn either to the darkside or remain with her normal side.
  
  
• 22: Beat the Jet-Black Robot! - The evil Gate Keeper's past is revealed. After realizing Shadow's past, Shun must either fight with him with all his might or remain his piety towards him. To add more ordeal to his problem are Megumi and Ruriko, who are within Shadow's custody...
  
  
• 23: Exert All Your Courage to Fight! - Shun was gravely defeated with the battle against Shadow. With the Gate Engine ruined, Gate Robo is unfortunately useless. But they found a replacement for the Gate Engine, and the ultimate battle is bound to start...
  
  
• 24: For Tomorrow's Smile - With the Gate Robo reborn, the Gate Keepers' hopes have finally regained. Shun must face Shadow one on one to save Japan and save Ruriko from darkness. But Ruriko have already taken side with darkness, and was ready to eliminate Shun with her own negative-turned power. Shun must erase Ruriko's only hatred to bring her back to normal. The solution was the confession of each other's feelings.
