Nominal Translation: COUNT DEVIL

Count Devil's origin is unknown, except for the fact that he is a rare type
of invader with the power to enter one's mind and toy with it. He did this
exact thing with the gatekeepers by putting them in an island of illusion and
toying with their emotions.

Along with General Machine, he recruited Reiji into their fold to use his
power as a dark gatekeeper. He was killed by Shun with the Gate Robo Zero in
the last battle with him and General Machine, only to have their invader
crystals revived by Reiji. He returned to battle the gatekeepers along with
General Machine and a powerful invader formation in the bout to capture Ruriko
by taking her father hostage. However, Reiji knew that the two of the top brass
were only using him from the beginning and he used their invader crystals to
fuse with his own power, creating the Jet Black Robo. As part of the robo,
Count Devil's power is being drawn. As a slave, he has absolutely no control
over the robo. The mecha was destroyed in their final battle with Shun and its
pieces entered the vortex Shun created.
