Wardrobe: Reiko wears 3-A Tategami uniforms (red in the game, and midnight blue in the anime). Out of uniform, she wears classic semi-formal outfits, long-sleeved blouses with frill collars and cuffs, and baloon skirts. She is always seen wearing a ribbon on her hair tied across the top of the head.
Distinguishing Traits: Reiko speaks in a melodic tone. Her speech is also somewhat slower and she pronounces all the letters in Japanese, even if they are supposed to be silent.
Reiko is an only child left in the care of a guardian. She enjoys playing the piano and puppeteering not only for herself but for charitable causes. Reiko’s gate ability to naturally flow with music and create beautiful illusions surfaced one day when she desperately needed to perfect a piece for the next day’s concert as her absentee parents were going to be there. Soon the illusions became her famous trademark. However, invaders started lurking around her, in need to stop the harm caused to them by Reiko’s music, prompting Shirei to send his ‘first unit’- Shun & Ruriko, to protect her. In her biggest concert, she became involved in a battle between invaders and her protectors. Thus-she was recruited into the gatekeepers as a regular member. Her powers were generally useless at first because of her slow wit and circumstances (invaders kept whacking her pianos) until later when she fully put her thoughts together and became quite a force to be reckoned with. As a gatekeeper, she moved to the Violet Dormitory from her home, so as she’ll be near the AEGIS base when needed. |
