In the game she is a member of AEGIS Far East. Colors: White is her gate color. This symbolizes snow, purity, and loneliness.Her other color, purple, connotes mystery. Wardrobe: She is always seen wearing a white printed kimono with purple and orange prints and a red and purple belt. She is een once with a bland colored resting kimono at Saemi’s house. Much about Yukino is unknown, except that she is a high-level gatekeeper with abilities far beyond her gate’s base power. Yukino has been frozen in time waiting for her lover who died in a war years ago. She describes herself as being locked in a cage of her tears frozen for eternity. Yukino has been alone all that time with her pet hermine, Hisame, until Shun and Ruriko arrived in her mountain, Daisetsu and the three battled invaders there. She acknowledged both to be her friends and appeared to them from time to time to help. She also manifested herself to Saemi and both became friends. She even joined the GKs at Shun’s house for a New Year’s vacation. Yukino also interened in the final battle with Kageyama just before he could destroy Shun’s Gate Robo. Yukino rarely speaks of her own, but lengthily describes her thoughts and emotions by wrapping them in Tanka poetry. Yukino lives on up to Gatekeepers 21, long after the current storyline, still remaining as she was in the original anime.
