| Again just prior to the engine being fired up. The crowd was a lot larger than the photo suggests. Now to quote from someone who also was there... "... at 
      4pm we pushed out our replica of Pearse's plane to the taxi way and our 
      engineer started the engine and revved it for a few bursts for the crowd, 
      ...then a 35 inch model of Pearse's plane was flown from immediately 
      beside the full size, it circled slowly around beside and over the replica 
      for about a minute and then proceeded to loops barrel rolls and did a 
      circuit up side down then landed close to the big one the crowd went 
      wild..." |
