Sifnos has been a regional supplier of functional ceramics since antiquity, and the main forms (some shown below) are still faithfully reproduced by generation after generation of potters. Yanis Atsonios, seen here at his kickwheel in Vathi, has handed over to his son, Andonis. The tsoukali revidion, for making revithia, is at bottom right in the picture below.
