Al Falah - The Good Life in this
world and in the Hereafter! Wealth being a Trust (Amanah) upon mankind,
is encouraged upon Muslims. From the Holy Qur'an, a guidance to Mankind,
and from the Sunnah and AHadith, we learn to follow the commandments
from God, the Exalted. Al Falah, the attainment and aspiration of every
Muslim is to follow the commandments and stay away from the Fire. The
Pharisees, a lawyer came to Prophet Eesa (AS) and asked ? Mster, which
is the great commndment in the law? Nabi Eesa (AS) said, Thou shalt love
the Lord (Allah SWT) with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all
thy mind. This is the first and great commandment and the second is like
unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22 vs 36 to 40)
In another incident (Matthew 19 vs 16 to 21) And, behold, one came and
sid unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have
eternal life?. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good?, there is
none good but one, that is, God; but if thou wilt enter into life, keep
the commandments. He sith unto him, Which? Jesus (AS) said, Thous shalt
do no murder, Thou shalt not steal, Thous shalt not bear false witness,
Honour thy father and thy mother; and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from
my youth up; what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be
perfect, go nd sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt
