Executive Order No. 358

 

 

REVOKING THE DESIGNATION OF THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE EXPORT PROCESSING ZONE AUTHORITY AS A MEMBER OF THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON THE PHILIPPINE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

 

WHEREAS, the Administrator of the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) has been designated as a member of the Presidential Committee on the Philippine Nuclear Power Plant, hereinafter the Committee, under Executive Order No. 315, s. of 1988, because of the familiarity of the incumbent, Atty. Jaime L. Guerrero, with the nuclear power plant matter;

 

WHEREAS, the representation of the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) in the Committee will no longer be necessary as its incumbent administrator will be leaving the Authority on June 15, 1989;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

 

(1)      The designation of the Administrator of the Export Processing Zone (EPZA) as member of the Presidential Committee on the Philippine Nuclear Power Plant is hereby revoked.

 

(2)      Sections 2 and 4 (b) of Executive Order No. 315, s. of 1988 are hereby modified accordingly.

 

(3)      This Executive Order shall take effect on June 15, 1989.

 

Done in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.
