RESERVING FOR WATERSHED AND HYDROELECTRIC PURPOSES OF THE NATIONAL POWER CORPORATION A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ATOK, BUKOD, BUGUIAS, ITOGON, KABAYAN, KIBUNGAN, LA TRINIDAD AND TUBLAY, PROVINCE OF BENGUET, MUNICIPALITIES OF HUNDUAN AND KIANGAN, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO; AND MUNICIPALITY OF KAYAPA, NUEVA VIZCAYA, ISLAND OF LUZON

 

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested upon me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for watershed and hydroelectric purposes under the administration, supervision and control of the General Manager of the National Power Corporation which is hereby authorized to call upon any government bureau, agency, or instrumentality for assistance as the need for it arises, subject to private right, if any there be and to future survey, and to the condition that the cutting, collection and removal of timber and other forest products therein will be subject to forest and internal revenue laws and regulations, a certain parcel of land of the public domain as shown in the attached plan, situated in the municipalities of Atok, Bukod, Buguias, Itogon, Kabayan, Kibungan, La Trinidad and Tublay, Province of Bunguet, municipality of Hunduan and Kiangan, Province of Ifugao; and municipality of Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, Island of Luzon, and more particularly described as follows:

Beginning; containing an area of One Thousand two Hundred Thirty (1,230) square kilometers, more or less. All points are indicated on the plan.

 

Proclamation No. 634 dated October 8, 1910 which established the Mount Data National Park Reservation and Proclamation No. 217, series of 1920, which established the Central Cordillera Forest Reserve are hereby amended by placing the areas embraced therein under the administration, supervision and control of the National Power Corporation; however, the area embraced in Proclamation No. 120, dated November 25, 1966 which established the Ambuklao Forest Reserve, shall continue to be under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry.
