Uniform - Female Service Dress

This will tell you how to put the ranks, ribbons, etc on your service dress uniform in preparation for uniform day.

Officer - Epaulet insignia 5/8 of an inch space between the shoulder seam and the bottom of the rank and centered.
Enlisted - Rank should rest on (but not over) the seams on the lapels.

Lapel Insignia - Should rest on (but not over) the seams of the lapels.
Distinguished Cadet Badge - Centered 1/2 inch above name tag or 1/2 inch above Kitty Hawk Air Society Badge, if authorized.
Kitty Hawk Air Society Badge or Awareness Presentation Team Badge - Centered 1/2 inch above the name tag.
Flight or Ground School Badge or Academy of Model Aeronautics silver wings - Centered 1/2 inch above a line horizontal to top of name tag, if no ribbons.
Model Rocketry Badge - Centered 1/2 inch above ribbons or 1/2 inch above a line horizontal to top of name tag, if no ribbons.

Name tag centered 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches below bottom of the tab even with bottom of ribbons.
Ribbons centered with bottom of ribbons even with bottom of name tag

School(Unit) patch on right sleeve 1/2 to 1 inch below shoulder seam and centered.

AFJROTC patch on left sleeve 1/2 inch to 1 inch below shoulder seam and centered.

Officers and Airman Basic wear two eagles on lapel.

Eagle insignia worn on wearer's left, grade insignia on right.

ALWAYS wear a tab with this uniform!
