I started playing the violin in fifth grade, on a cheap Chinese rental but quit due to displeasure with the school violin program. I began playing again in 1996 after falling in love with a beautiful little German violin, which I named "Honey". I grew interested in the magnificent shape and difficult construction of violins. I studied the process with nothing more than the internet and a few books as my guide.
Since then, I have made three beautiful violins completely from scratch. "Ariel" was the first, which I constructed for my girlfriend. "Sophia" I made as a Christmas present for my little brother. "Carina" I made for myself to play at the music institute in Padova, Italia. Below are pictures of my German violin and the three finished violins. If you are interested in a custom made violin email me and I will consider the project. Enjoy the pictures!
