The Guardians

Created by Santiago as part of his "Perfect Program," an effort to create the idea soldier. Gretchen helped to program them into the game. Prototypes that were not so perfect, such as Mordred, were created previous to the Guardians.

The Sisters

Women who do not speak but have the power to heal. They wear white dresses and short hair. They excommunicated Florence for taking up arms to defend herself. The Sisters are hunted by Santiago, who destroyed most of their order.

The Brotherhood

Monks, also known as the Brotherhood of the Oraculum, because their order guards a book containing the prophecy for Harsh Realm. The book is embossed on the cover: a circle intersected with a large "V". Their monastery was in the Netherland Antilles before it was destroyed by Santiago. The men dress in red tunics with black sashes, heads shaved. They speak a language known as Meckinese. Two of their members are Brother Andrew and Brother Martin.
