ARTICLE V     Dues and Finance
   A.  "The lodge dues shall be set at $4.00 if paid in the previous year.  If paid in that year, a late payment fee of $2.00
   will be assessed, making the total late payment $6.00.  The fiscal year being the calendar year, shall be the time period for the new dues rate.  The amount of increase allowed per year will be at or less than $.50 as deemed necessary by the lodge executive committee.  Any amount in excess of the stated allowance, must be taken before the lodge membership as a whole.  The dues will be handled by the lodge Secretary and turned over to the lodge Treasurer for deposit with the council into custodial account #2371."
   B.  The Treasurer shall be responsible for drawing up an annual budget in consultation with the Lodge Chief, past Lodge Chief, and the past Treasurer if possible.
        1.  Funds will be available for lodge expenses including chapter reimbursements,  with the approval of the lodge executive committee.
        2.  All lodge funds will be handled through the council office and be subject to their accounting procedures.
   C.  Registration fees, established by the lodge executive committee, shall be levied to offset the expenses of conferring the Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil Honor memberships: and for any such special activities as warrant such fees.

ARTICLE VI     Membership & Transfer
   A.  Active membership in AG-IM Lodge is open to all dues paying OA members in the council who maintain an active registered membership with a chartering unit.  Members who move outside the council will maintain or transfer their membership into their new council.
        1.  To take part in any lodge or chapter event a person must be an active member  with dues paid for the present year.  Chapter Chiefs will be responsible for keeping  record of active members, and should report changes to the lodge secretary.
        2.  Inactive members may re-enter the lodge by paying $12.00 which covers  membership for that year.
   B.  Transfer of membership from another lodge into AG-IM shall be handled by the lodge secretary.  A letter requesting transfer should be sent to the secretary along with a copy of certification of membership in the former lodge. The transferee will have to pay the current years dues and the next year's dues.  A denial of acceptance, for any just cause, can only be made by the lodge executive committee.

ARTICLE VII     Organization & Voting

   A.  The governing of the lodge and its chapters shall be keeping ideals found in the current OA handbook.
        1.  The lodge shall be divided into as many chapters as is convenient to it.
        2.  Any officers of the lodge or its chapters, with the advice of the chief involves,  shall have the power to appoint any of the advisory members, committee chairmen or other officers if said office is vacated through resignation, death, or inability of the officer to fulfill his duties.
             a.  In the case of such vacancies, an election shall be held no more than   four (4) months later, to fill office, with the exception of the lodge chief.
             b.  In the case of the lodge chieftainship being vacated, the vice chief in charge of activities shall succeed that office: and the next vice chief shall succeed his office.
   B.  Voting on lodge or chapter concerns shall be run in the following manner.
        1.  Votes on matters other than elections shall be counted as one (1) per eligible voter.  Members the age of twenty-one or over shall be ineligible.
        2.  All elections and meetings shall be run in accordance with Robert's Rules of  Order.
        3.  In an election, no chapter shall have more than twice the votes has the smallest chapter present.
        4.  A quorum at a meeting of the lodge shall be 25 percent of the active members of the lodge, as determined by the lodge secretary at that time, and applies only to voting members.
       5.  The officers elected are Lodge Chief, Vice Chief in charge of activities, Vice Chief in charge of Physical Arrangements, Lodge Secretary, and Lodge Treasurer.
   C.  Elections of lodge officers will take place at the Fall Conclave with the officers assuming their duties as of October 1st.
        1.  Lodge or Chapter officers may serve as many terms as they are elected to, until  they reach the year of their twenty-first birthday.
