The Six Articles of Faith

The word Eeman literally means to affirm, to accept, to believe. In the Islamic terminology, it means affirmation by words and a firm conviction of the heart.

The First Article of Faith
BELIEF IN GOD


Ash-hado Un Laa Ilaha Illallaho Wa Ash-hado Anna Muhammadar Rasoolullahi.
I stand witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah. (He is One without and partner).
I stand witness that Muhammad (pease abd blessings of Allah be on him) is His Messenger.

The Second Article of Faith
BELIEF IN THE ANGELS

The Third Article of Faith
BELIEF IN THE BOOKS OF GOD

1. The Torah - Given to Prophet Musa (Moses), The book revealed to Moses
2. The Psalms or Zaboor - Given to Prophet Dawood (David), The Psalms of David
3. The New Testament or Injeel - Given to Prophet 'Eesa (Jeses), revealed to Jesus
4. The Suhf - Given to Prophet Ibraheem (Abraham)
4. The Quran - Revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad

The Fourth Article of Faith
BELIEF IN THE PROPHETS OF GOD

No one knows the exact number of Prophets. The holy Quran says that some prophets are mentioned and others are not mentioned in the Quran. Only God knows their true number. The prophets who are mentioned in the Quran are the following (peace be upon them all):

6. Ismaeel (Ishmael)
7. Is'Haaq (Isac)
8. Ya'qoob (Jacob)

14. Yunas (Jonas)
15. Idrees
16. Ilyas (Elijah)
17. Zul-Kifl
18. Haroon (Aron)
19. Al-Yasah
20. Dawood (David)
21. Sulaiman (Solomon)
22. Zakariyya
23. Yahya (John)
24. Jesus
25. Muhammad

The Fifth Article of Faith
BELIF IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

A time will come when all humand are dead. They will be all reckoned with for thier deeds by God.
That is called the Day of Judgement.
