Dai Bouken's Updates Page!

3/3/03 - It's been a LONG time since I last updated Dai Bouken. I'm really surprised that people still visit! If you are reading this, I'd just like to thank you for visiting the other "sites" on Dai Bouken. The only functioning site at the moment is my Fruits Basket site. I'm keeping all the other sites online, but would like you to know that hopefully Dai Bouken will be resurrected in it's entirety soon (and it won't be on PageBuilder either!).
10/21 - Wow. My updates are getting pretty long...no one actually reads this right? I'll probably archive the old stuff soon... Let's see...I added a new section to the furuba site called the "Special - omake" page. I'm planning on adding some wallpapers to it...someday. Oh, and I'm on the Fruits Basket Web Ring too. For those of you that visit this site, could you *please* sign my guestbook or email me about what you think I should do to improve Dai Bouken? I haven't added any new multimedia to the Laruku page because no one has emailed me about it yet and I've been really lazy about scanning stuff and finishing my manga reviews page because I'm not sure if anyone is actually reading them. I've done a lot to try to promote the site, and I know that some ppl come here, but STILL no guestbook entries. *sigh* (;_;)
10/10 - Well, school started a week ago and that's keeping me away from adding more content to Dai Bouken ;_; However, I actually found time to complete the main page of the Hanazakari no Kimitachi e section! Yay! No Yahoo Page Builder this time folks, I actually had to "learn" the HTML. Anywho, I'm kinda satisfied with the way it came out, but managing subdirectories is a pain in the ass. Um, I added three new pix to the furuba page and, I *really* love my new CPU -- It's so quiet!
10/3 - DAMN. It's been hella long since I last updated... Considering the fact that I usually update this site *at least* once a week, there must be a reason why Dai Bouken has been stagnant so long: COMPAQ computers are f***ed up pieces of s**t. My COMPCRAP computer broke down several weeks ago and has been in the "shop" ever since. I wound up having to buy a new CPU (an HP this time. I'd rather stick pins under my nails than buy another COMPAQ product ever again...) and I've been transferring files, d/l apps ever since. The good news is that the guy that worked on my old CPU was able to save all my files, so I hope to add more stuff to Dai Bouken real soon. Look for my Hana Kimi page to be online in the next week or so and more furuba pix in the Fruits Basket section..
9/11 - Been a while since my last update... I was on vacation ^_^. Anywho, I added another pix and a manga info page to the Fruits Basket section. I also opened a web account with my school, so I'm actually *looking* forward to uploading files and multimedia...only I haven't recieved any response to the multimedia page in the Laruku section yet so... Dunno, maybe I'll upload anime music instead...
9/2 - Finished the Laruku history page and the multimedia page is now online. I also added a new links banner. ^_^ I'm currently working on adding more manga reviews.
8/31 - Yippee! Laruku's discography page is online! Not to toot my own horn here^^, but I'm *really* proud of the banner I made. Was a pain in the ass to make, but I'm actually satisfied with it! O_o Oh, I'm also going to put up some more furuba images ^_^ v
8/29 - Ooh, I made *a lot* of updates to this site in the past few days...only I kept forgetting to post those updates on this Updates page - how ironic (D'oh!). OK, well I added the Hitorigoto page to the "Me" section; the manga reviews page and one actual manga review! Check them out and let me know what you think ^_^
8/24 - I forgot to update this yesterday, but yuki's profile is up in the Laruku section. The Laruku History page is also up, but it's still under construction. I'm really proud of how the banner and the background for that page turned out ^_^. I must've searched for a suitable wallpaper for two hours before I realized that I could just make it myself! Along with finishing this up, I'm also working on the Manga Reviews page. Once again, I'm making buttons (oh joy) and the wallpaper O_o;
8/22 - ken's profile page is online in the Laruku section. It's still under construction because I'm too sleepy right now to complete it. This page is by far my wackiest one yet! Check out the western/chili pepper/cactus motif. It was all unplanned of course, but I kinda like it ^_^. ken the cowboy. heheh.
8/20 - testsu's profile page is online in the Laruku section. I'm not totally done with it yet because I'm still translating some of his interviews. Also...I'm really unhappy with the color scheme of the page...too orange? Gotta change that background.
8/19 - I finished making the banner for the member's profile page of the Laruku section! Took a *long* time, but I also managed to finish hyde's profile page too! Yay! ah...I need to go to sleep now.
8/17 - Worked a bit on the Laruku page, but ultimately only succeeded in revising the Updates banner. Er, you can tell that those are sakura petals right? right? I wonder if I should put back the old banner...
8/16 - Put up top page of the Laruku section. The layout was a pain to put together and I'm still not happy with it, so it might take a while before I'm done. I'm working on the member profile pages now (expect personalized banners here too ^^;). I should have at least one of them done by tomorrow.
8/15 - It was so friggin hot today! All I did was mess with my laruku banner (again) and add a link to The Mad Capsule Markets. This band is great! I saw them in concert and will never forget how intense they were. There best be doing a gig in LA dammit!
8/14 - Links and Updates page online. Banners for both pages were completed in an hour and a half (!). That's a new record for me! The banner on this page will need to be revised later...I forgot to add leaves ^^; (cuz they're standing in front of a tree). I spent most of the day working on the L'Arc~en ~Ciel banner...it's driving me crazy! I finally finished it, but I *still* have to figure out how I want the buttons and the layout to look. To frame or not to frame? Looks like the anime page will be the last to go online... I'm thinking about making it an anime MP3 page instead.
8/4 to 8/14 - Fruits Basket page 65% done. Cosplay page, Shoujo Squall page, Me page, About Dai Bouken page alll semi-completed. Still need to add more gifs for my sister ^^;. During this 10 day period, I was really surprised (shocked really) to discover that people were *actually* visiting my site and signing my guestbook! With the exception of one post (Thanks Chrys!), I thought that my sister had written all of the rest under fake names... Turns out that the entries were actually made by some friends of hers at school! Thanks a lot you guys! So far you've had nothing but good and encouraging things to say about Dai Bouken, so I'm really happy ^_^ ! There's so much more I need to do before I can consider the site complete and knowing that there are people out there that are actually interested in this site and waiting for it to finish, makes me want to get off my ass and hurry up. Photoshop's a monster and I thought about giving up several times, but with your support I really feel motivated to keep on going! Thanks a lot everyone! ^__^ v
