The AICCF Management Committee on 18/11/07 has decided that all the games of S.K.Somani in the ongoing AICCF Championship 1507 (except that against S.M.Ravi Prakash who withdrew from the tournament) are treated as lost. This applies to all his pending games and the games against Dushyant Tyagi and Shams Khan where he was previously awarded a win by claim. This action has been taken in view of the constant irregularities by Shri Somani in playing the games and misguiding his opponents about his contact details. Further, no new games will be allotted to Shri Somani for a period of 1 year (that is upto 19/11/08). No correspondence will be entertained in this matter.
All opponents playing against Shri Somani in 1507 may please take note and stop the game with Shri S.K.Somani. Shri Shams Khan and Dushant Tyagi, please note that your result of loss against S.K.Somani in 1507, as published in the AICCF Bulletin of August 2007 is hereby reversed in retrospective effect and your rating has been appropriately recalculated. |
