A brilliant profiler gets caught up in a cat-and-mouse game with a serial killer. The killer murders her husband. She retires and spends three years in self-imposed isolation with her young daughter and best friend. Until a friend comes along and asks for her help in a murder investigation. She takes her life back.

Welcome to "Profiler". The show aired on Saturday nights on NBC for four years, giving the channel its highest time slot ratings in the show's first two seasons. The brain child of Cynthia Saunders and the co-production of Moses/Sander Productions and NBC Studios, "Profiler" was a particular favorite among female viewers who were drawn to the series for its fantastic main character Samantha Waters (depicted by Ally Walker), other great characters and fascinating stories.

Other actors involved in the series were Robert Davi, Julian McMahon, Roma Maffia, Peter Frechette, Erica Gimpel, Caitlin Wachs, Michael Whaley, Sheik Mahmud-Bey, Traci Lords and Dennis Christopher. A plethora of web pages dedicated to this unique series were established on the spot.

Which brings us to "Aino's Modus Operandi". Yet another web site dedicated to this superb tv series, but it strives to differ a little from the rest. It will feature memorable lines from each and every episode which the web mistress has deemed worthy of such recognition. It will also try to encourage ordinary viewers take an interest in the people behind the show with detailed crew information. Another special feature will be the trivia section, where Aino has compiled songs, goofs, floor plans and other stuff that she has picked up during her years of intent focus. And we mustn't forget the font she has designed to be a close match of the series' font, but it's not identical. At least now no one can sue her, right?

Check back in the coming weeks for the WWW premiere of "Aino's Modus Operandi"! In the mean time Aino leaves you with this great moment from the series:
Bailey: "Maybe he's trying to destroy perfection. I better lock my doors."
