Aino's Modus Operandi: Profiler vocabulary

NB! This is just a basic vocabulary, designed to help new comers get into the jargon the fans have deviced and used over the years. I don't know all of it, but I'd be happy to receive any additions. I can also try to answer your possible enquiries.

FBD: the acronym for "Federal Bureau of Denial". This is the place to go if you can't accept seeing Sam leave either.
NOTW: means "Nutball Of The Week", ie the episode's perpretrator.
Prophile: the unofficial mailing list of Profiler goes by this name. Occasionally it is also used to refer to fans of the show.
SABER: the acronym of "Sam And Bailey Eternal Romantics". The official SBR mailing list also goes by this name.
SAC: "Special Agent in Charge".
SBR: stands for "Sam and Bailey relationship".
SJR: stands for "Sam and John relationship".
Skewed Believers: fans who are inclined to think that Sam and Jack belong together.
The Believers: people who believe in SJR, literally.
TPTB: "The People / Powers That Be", essentially the people in charge of the series.
TIIC: "The Idiots In Charge", a reference to TPTB.
Thrillogy: NBC's program format for Saturday nights, based on series that shared somewhat similar theme; thriller/sci-fi. The series in the first time slot changed constantly. "The Pretender" was run after the opening show and Profiler topped off the night.
VCTF: "Violent Crimes Task Force".
