Sam: "Have you been here all night?"
Bailey: "Yeah, just... work."
Sam: "Alright, out with it, what's wrong?"
Bailey: "Nothing."
Sam: "Bailey what's wrong? Is it Frances?"
Bailey: "No. This time it's me. I've kept it buried for years. The sniper raised it up. Nightmares... everything. It was Cambodia 1972 I came up against another sniper, as good as this one."
Sam: "Theirs or ours?"
Bailey: "Ours. From what they call a Panther unit, a secret CIA assassin team. Except this guy had gone rogue, he was out of control. I was sent there after him."
Sam: "What happened?"
Bailey: "I took the patrol over the border, and he began to pick us off. No sound, men would just fall. We'd go for cover, move, another man down. He got them all, my whole squad."
Sam: "But he let you go."
Bailey: "He saved me for last. I drew his fire, walked right into it. He was ready to die and at that point, I didn't care. You never wanna see that part of your soul... the beast inside yourself."
Sam (to Bailey): "He is suicidal. This is his last shot. If you get in the way, he's gonna take you with him."
Sam: "Bailey, this is his myth, not yours."
Bailey: "This started 25 years ago, not with this guym but one just like him. It's part of the same myth, I've gotta finish it."
