PROPHET ISA  (JESUS  )IN THE HOLY QURAN

And mention Marium in the Book
when she drew aside from her family to an
eastern place;

So she took a veil (to screen
herself) from them; then We sent to her Our
spirit, and there appeared to her a wellmade
man.

She said: Surely I fly for refuge from
you to the Beneficent God, if you are one
guarding (against evil).

He said: I am only a messenger of
your Lord: That I will give you a pure boy.

She said: When shall I have a boy and
no mortal has yet touched me, nor have I
been unchaste?

He said: Even so; your Lord says: It
is easy to Me: and that We may make him a
sign to men and a mercy from Us, and it is a
matter which has been decreed.

So she conceived him; then withdrew
herself with him to a remote place.

 And the throes (of childbirth)
compelled her to betake herself to the trunk
of a palm tree. She said: Oh, would that I
had died before this, and had been a thing
quite forgotten!

Then (the child) called out to her
from beneath her: Grieve not, surely your
Lord has made a stream to flow beneath
you;

And shake towards you the trunk of
the palmtree, it will drop on you fresh ripe
dates:

So eat and drink and refresh the
eye. Then if you see any mortal, say: Surely I
have vowed a fast to the Beneficent God, so
I shall not speak to any man today.

And she came to her people with
him, carrying him (with her). They said: O
Marium! surely you have done a strange
thing.

O sister of Haroun! your father was
not a bad man, nor, was your mother an
unchaste woman.

But she pointed to him. They said:
How should we speak to one who was a child
in the cradle?

He said: Surely I am a servant of
Allah; He has given me the Book and made
me a prophet;

And He has made me blessed
wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on
me prayer and poorrate so long as I live;

And dutiful to my mother, and He
has not made me insolent, unblessed;

And peace on me on the day I was
born, and on the day I die, and on the day I
am raised to life.

Such is Isa, son of Marium; (this is)
the saying of truth about which they
dispute.

It beseems not Allah that He should
take to Himself a ! son, glory to be Him;
when He has decreed a matter He only says
to it "Be," and it is.

The Holy Quran:19 /16...35

O you who believe! be helpers (in the
cause) of Allah, as  Isa son of Marium said
to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the
cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are
helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of
the children of Israel believed and another
party disbelieved; then We aided those who
believed against their enemy, and they
became uppermost.

 The Holy Quran:61/ 14

On the day when Allah will assemble
the apostles, then say: What answer were
you given? They shall say: We have no
knowledge, surely You are the great Knower
of the unseen things.

When Allah will say: O Isa son of
Marium! Remember My favor on you and on
your mother, when I strengthened you I with
the holy Spirit, you spoke to the people in
the cradle and I when of old age, and when I
taught you the Book and the wisdom and the
Taurat and the Injeel; and when you
determined out of clay a thing like the form
of a bird by My permission, then you
breathed into it and it became a bird by My
permission, and you healed the blind and the
leprous by My permission; and when you
brought forth the dead by My permission;
and when I withheld the children of Israel
from you when you came to them with clear
arguments, but those who disbelieved
among them said: This is nothing but clear
enchantment.

And when I revealed to the
disciples, saying, Believe in Me and My
apostle, they said: We believe and bear
witness that we submit (ourselves).

When the disciples said: O Isa son
of Marium! will your Lord consent to send
down to us food from heaven? He said: Be
careful of (your duty to) Allah if you are
believers.

They said: We desire that we should
eat of it and that our hearts should be at
rest, and that we may know that you have
indeed spoken the truth to us and that we
may be of the witnesses to it.

Isa the son of Marium said: O Allah,
our Lord! send I down to us food from
heaven which should be to us an
everrecurring happiness, to the first of us
and to the last of us, and a sign from You,
and grant us means of subsistence, and
You are the best of the Providers.

Allah said: Surely I will send it down
to you, but whoever shall disbelieve
afterwards from among you, surely I will
chastise him with a chastisement with which
I will not chastise, anyone among the
nations.

And when Allah will say: O Isa son of
Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my
mother for two gods besides Allah he will
say: Glory be to You, it did not befit me
that I should say what I had no right to
(say); if I had said it, You would indeed
have known it; You know what is in my
mind, and I do not know what is in Your mind,
surely You are the great Knower of the
unseen things.

I did not say to them aught save
what You did enjoin me with: That serve
Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a
witness of them so long as I was among
them, but when You did cause me to die,
You were the watcher over them, and You
are witness of all things.

If You should chastise them, then
surely they are Your servants; and if You
should forgive them, then surely You are
the Mighty, the Wise.

Allah will say: This is the day when
their truth shall benefit the truthful ones;
they shall have gardens beneath which rivers
flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well
pleased with them and they are well pleased
with Allah; this is the mighty achievement.

The Holy Quran:5 /109...119

O followers of the Book! do not
exceed the limits in your religion, and do not
speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the
truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only
an apostle of Allah and His Word which He
communicated to Marium and a spirit from
Him; believe therefore in Allah and His
apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is
better for you; Allah is only one God; far be
It from His glory that He should have a son,
whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in
the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a
Protector.

The Holy Quran:4 /171

And when Isa son of Marium said: O
children of Israel! surely I am the apostle of
Allah to you, verifying that which is before
me of the Taurat and giving the good news
of an Apostle who will come after me, his
name being Ahmad, but when he came to
them with clear arguments they said: This is
clear magic.

The Holy Quran:61 /6

And for their unbelief and for their
having uttered against Marium a grievous
calumny.

And their saying: Surely we have
killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the
apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor
did they crucify him, but it appeared to them
so (like Isa) and most surely those who
differ therein are only in a doubt about it;
they have no knowledge respecting it, but
only follow a conjecture, and they killed him
not for sure.

 Nay! Allah took him up to Himself;
and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

And there is not one of the followers
of the Book but most certainly believes in
this before his death, and on the day of
resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness
against them.

The Holy Quran:Sura:4 /Ayahs:156..158

And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going
to terminate the period of your stay (on
earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and
purify you of those who disbelieve and make
those who follow you above those who
disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to
Me shall be your return, so l will decide
between you concerning that in which you
differed.

Then as to those who disbelieve, I will
chastise them with severe chastisement in
this world and the hereafter, and they shall
have no helpers.

And as to those who believe and do
good deeds, He will pay them fully their
rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust.

The Holy Quran:3 /55...57
