Aah Doyle, how we miss you. You were a bright light in Angel's universe. Thanks for providing humor, sharing a bit 'o Irish wisdom every now and then, and for making that funny demon face when you sneezed.

I am so proud of how Doyle grew during his short stay at Angel Investigations. Originally he was just the middle man, giving Angel the low-down from the powers that be. A self-proclaimed coward, he didn't want to put himself in the line of danger. But in the end he became a true-blue hero, sacrificing his own life to save a family he didn't even know.

Unrequited love. He cherished Cordelia from afar, and could never find the courage to tell her, at least, not until he was about to die. And in the end, Cordelia loved him too.

Doyle is the reason Angel Investigations exists to begin with. Poor love-sick and heart-broken Angel was just wandering around LA, helping people where he could. Doyle gave him direction, showed him how his life could truly make a difference. In general, he was just a really great guy, and is missed by all.
