A Word From God
As you got up this morning, I hoped you would talk to me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed that you were too busy trying to find the right outfit to wear.
When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello. But you were too busy.
At one point you had to wait 15 minutes with nothing to do except sit on a chair. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me. But you ran to the phone and called a friend instead.
I watched patiently all day long. With all your activities, I guess you were to busy to say anything to me.
I noticed that before lunch you looked around. Maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me. Is that why you didn't bow your head? You saw some of your friends talk to me brieflybefore they ate, but you didn't. That's okay. There is still more time left today and I hope that you will talk to me yet.
You went home and it seems as if you had lots to do. After a few were done, you turned on the t.v. You spend a lot of time in front of the t.v. each day not thinking about anything. You watched t.v. and ate another meal. Still you didn't talk to me.
At bedtime, I guess you were too tired. After saying good night to your family, you plopped into bed and fell asleep. That's okay
You may not realize I am always there for you. I have patience ... more than you will ever know. I want to teach you patience as well. I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer, or thought ... or for a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to keep up a one-sided conversation.
Well, you are waking up again. Once again, I will wait, with nothing but love foe you... hoping that today you will give me soem time. Have a nice day!
Your Friend,
GOD
Do you have time for hte creator of the universe today?

Church Funnies & Uh-Oh's
A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question. "Boys and girls, what do we know about God?"
"He is an artist!" said a kindergarten boy. "Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked. "You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven."
A story is told a a preacher who got up to the pulpit one Sunday morning and announced:
"I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still in your pockets."
A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quikly, but there were many cars at the station. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. "Reverend," said the man. "I'm sorry about the wait. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip." The minister chuckled, "I know what you mean. It's the same in my business."
A minister parked his car in a no parking zone in a large city because he was short on time and couldn't find a space with a meter. He put a note on his car that read: If I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my appointment. FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES.
When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note: I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a ticket, I'll lose my job. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION.
