Welcome to the Alaska Aussies web page. We are very glad that you stopped by. My family and I are dedicated to saving Australian Shepherds. I am one of three representatives for ARPH (Aussie Rescue Placement & Helpline, Inc.) here in Alaska. Our goal is to place all of our rescued Aussies in loving, caring forever homes. People wishing to adopt a dog through ARPH, Inc. should first contact a rep for an adoption application. You can contact a rep by e-mail.
Please don't wait until you see the dog of your dreams on our site. Adopters who are already approved are given first preference and some dogs never get listed on the page because homes are waiting for them.
The backbone of ARPH are our foster homes. Without these selfless people we would not be able to do rescue. Here in Alaska we are in very short supply, so how about considering helping rescue by becoming one. E-mail one of our reps to become a foster home.
Alaska is a very large state and is always looking for volunteers. Our reps are all located in South Central Alaska.
