MARVIN Agustin is bewildered by all the crazy talks that Jolina Magdangal's parents want him to stay away from their daughter. It's enough to make him feel like Marvin the Martian! ''I don't now where all that talk came from. It's only natural that Jolina's parents would be protective of her, but not to the point of telling me to back off. They always make me feel welcome naman when we're together.''

All those rumors could not be just a publicity stunt for their forthcoming movie, ''Labs Kita, Okay Ka Lang?'' 'cause the Marvin-Jolina love team is established enough. They don't really have to resort to any kind of gimmickry.

''With us, what you see is what you get. We love each other in a different sense, but we don't have any kind of commitment yet. We still have many other concerns, like our families and careers,'' he says.

But what if Marvin had his way and he could have Jolina all to himself? His eyes light up. ''I wish Jolina and I could go to the moon and just get away from it all!''
