"I play a taxi driver who falls in love with Jolina, who's a typical schoolgirl and disco-goer here."
Is your working relationship with Jolina in this movie different from your past loveteam vehicle?
"Jolina and I have to work harder in this movie. At...mas kilig ang dating namin, mas romantic."
Is it true that you're serious in courting Jolina?
"Yes, I'm courting her now; and it's for real."
So, how's it going?
"It's okay. Wala namang problema. With her family, okey naman. Wala namang may ayaw sa both parties. I'm very happy."
What's a trait of Jolina that you like most?
"She's malambing."
Aren't you afraid to be stuck in a loveteam?
"Being paired with Jolina is okay naman so far, kasi I can do movies with her and I can do movies without her. And this applies to her, too."
Do you think the Jolina-Marvin tandem will last considering you face competition from the likes of Angelu-Bobby and Juday-Wowie?
"As long as we get support from the public, as long as there's a demand for us to be together on-screen."
How was it working with Maricel and William?
"Madadala ka sa acting nila. Pag comedy sila, talagang matatawa ka na lang, pag drama sila, mapapa-drama ka rin. William taught me kung paano mag-alaga ng loveteam. Maricel gave me sound advice on how to spend my money wisely."
Most of your roles are comedy-oriented. Is that what you want to be as an actor?
"Actually a little of everything. Comedy, love story, drama... I also want to do action. As of now, hindi ko pa sure kung ano talaga ang bagay sa akin. That's why I want to try everything hanggang ma-discover ko kung saan ako comfortable."
Who among our comedians do you admire the most?
"Mr. Leo Martinez. I learn many things from him, especially when it comes to delivering punchlines."
What was the best comedy movie you've seen?
"Dumb And Dumber. Also The Mask."
Who's your favorite comic character?
"Superman, that guy's got everything."
What was the best gift you got from your last birthday?
"A birthday card from my dad. I like the short note na sinulat niya."

If you were granted the wish to star in a major Hollywood picture, who would you want as your leading lady?
"If it's comedy, Meg Ryan. She's so cool. Kung drama, Winona Ryder."
Will you go for total nudity if the project - a certified art film - calls for you to do it?
"Why not, kung talagang art film, at kung talagang kailangan sa movie. Also kung makakatulong sa career ko at sa image na pino-project ko, I'll do it. Of course ... I have to consult my manager."
If you were a pet, what yould you be? And who would you want as an owner?
"A shitzu; Jolina loves that kind of dog. Owner?...Of course si Jolina!"
Read any good book lately?
"I'm not really fond of books."
What's your favorite perfume?
"I like Herrera. But right now, I'm using Michael Jordan. Naubos na kasi ang Herrera ko."
Favorite jeans?
"I have no particular brand, as long as I'm comfortable wearing it. I really dig denims."
Who do you think is better? Streisand or Celine Dion?
"I think Celine is better, 'coz she's so cool!"

"After watching the recent presidential forum, I think it's got to be Roco."
What's this we heard about you and Judy Ann Santos?
"That's not true. Nakakahiya kasi ... magkaibigan lang talaga kami. Judy Ann knows na nanliligaw ako kay Jolina, add the fact that those two girls are good friends."
How did the rumor start?
"Kasi magkasama kami ni Judy Ann sa Esperanza. Usually pag maaga kaming natatapos sa taping ng Thursday night, at puwede kaming kumain sandali, lumalabas kami. Jolina is not part of that telesine, kaya wala s'ya. Pero paminsan-minsan, sumasama din s'ya sa amin pag wala s'yang ginagawa. I will admit na very close kami ni Juday. But there should be no malice to this."
