Marvin Agustin was recently adjudged New Movie Actor of the Year by the 14th Star Awards for movies. The said credit was due to his highly acclaimed performance in Flames, the Movie.
The movie has 2 episodes. He stars in the first one - Tameme, along with perenial loveteam - Jolina Magdangal. Marvin plays the role of poor boy Butch, the "torpe", secret admirer of rich gal Leslie (played by Jolina).
