Hanson is Melanie's favorite band and last year we went on the This Time Around tour with them in Detroit, Toronto, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati. We even got to go through a private tour of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Hanson and their Dad. Melanie Safka is my favorite folk singer. She played at Woodstock 69 and I've been a fan for over 30 years! I even named my daughter, Melanie, after her. Dr. Demento launched Al's career along with Frank Zappa and a few other demented music artists. He attended the Demented Prom at "Weird Al's" fan convention Alcon in 2000 held in Chicago. |
