About Me
|
I worked as an interstate truck driver for more than 23 years. I started
work when I was 15 years old, and got into trucks when I was 17.
There are a lot of issues around the road transport industry today,
which I will be getting into - check the link up to the left and take
a look at some of the links at the top right.
These days I drive a tractor, maintaining parks and road verges in Canberra.
I live at Michelago with my wife Barbara, 7 cows, eleven chickens, two
ducks, two dogs, 3 cats, and a mob of sheep.
I
have studied natural therapies including massage, reflexology, and colour
therapy.
I like Country Music, especially Slim Dusty. I sing and am learning
to play the guitar. I also like square dancing and I have some experience
as a square dance caller.
My
wife Barbara is beautiful and smart and she knows it!
My family originally came from Bombala in the Snowy Mountains. I was
born in Queanbeyan NSW where my mother Kitty and brother Robert still
live.
I grew up working on farms. My father, George Langhorn, worked as an
overseer on several properties in the country around Queanbeyan and
we spent a lot of time with him on these propeties though we had a house
in town.
