In the Depths of Solitude

I exist in the depths of solitude
Pondering my true goal,
Trying to find a peace of mind
and still preserve my soul.

Constantly yearning to be accepted
and from all received respect,
Never hesitant but sometimes risky
and that is my only regret.

A young heart with an old soul
how can there be peace?
How can I be in the depths of
solitude when there are two inside of me?

This duo within me causes the
perfect opportunity,
To learn and live twice as fast
as those who accepted responsibility

Dedicated to me…

And Tomorrow

Today is filled with hate
fuelled with hidden anger
Scared of being outcast
afraid of common fate.

Today is built of tragedies
which no one wants to face,
Nightmares to humanities
and morally disgraced.

Tonight I lay my head down
violence in the air,
Children bred with ruthlessness
because no-one at home cares.

Tonight I lay my head down
but the pressure never stops,
Growing at my sanity
content when I am dropped.

But, tomorrow I see chance
a chance to built anew,
Build on spirit, intent of love
and on ideals based on truth.

Tomorrow I wake with second wind
and strong because of pride,
To know I fought with all my heart
to keep my dream alive…
