Ticket for Aldershot Tattoo, 1934. From its origins in the 1890s, the Aldershot Tattoo grew into a major regional event. It reached its peak during the inter-war period when the new Rushmoor Arena was constructed in 1922. This provided an ideal setting for the large-scale events which were to take place there until the outbreak of the Second World War.
