Tramway ticket issued by
Helsingin Raitiotie- ja Omnibus Osakeyhtiö (HRO) in the 30's
The tram and bus company is nowadays named: Helsingin kaupungin
liikennelaitos (HKL)
It is a single ticket showing the network with shortened names of
some main tram stops. So when you came in to the tram, the conductor
punched a hole to the place you entered and then there is to punch the
number of days (1-31) and hour with 20 or 40 minutes. So it is easy
to identify are you entering at 00-20, 20-40 or 40-60 minutes.
Did
you have a number 10 printed over the ticket. If so, it is a reduced
rate single from a 10 trip booklet
