Have you taken a close look at the WWF recently? The once envelope pushing WWF is now almost back to what it should really be focused on - WRESTLING!
The addition of the Radicals and Tazz have given the federation a much needed boost in the talent department, not to mention the increase in possible story lines and matches. Who wouldn’t want to see these five guys? Since there is more usable talent, there has been a reduction in some of the extreme stuff recently. Even the degraded Women's Title is beginning to regain some respect. The only real TV14 angles are The Godfather & D'lo, Mae Young & Mark Henry. If Mae dies soon like we all hope she will, then there'll only be one needless angle. I don't see The Godfather's gimmick being scrapped soon, he's just too talentless to survive without his 'lady friends', besides alot of fans love the hoes.
However the emphasis on wrestlers isn't all good. We have guys like Mark Henry who people don't give a flying shit about whether he's supposed to be some kind of "Sexual Chocolate" or not. Bossman had a long hard try at becoming a heel but failed in every aspect of it since he's just too damn lame. Viscera is a complete waste of space! Mideon definitely isn't worthy of even WCW. Prince Albert still has some potential but he has been with Bossman too long. These are the guys who kill the entertainment value of matches especially when they're booked to face each other. No one can say that the Viscera vs. Mark Henry match at No Way Out didn't devalue the PPV that Mick Foley retired in.
The WWF needs to lose these guys fast. Better and more promising wrestlers are practically begging to be signed by the all powerful federation. Who needs guys that are stale? I'm pretty sure that if these five were shifted out we could see the re-emergence of the WWF Cruiser Weight Division. Papi Chulo, umm I mean Essa Rios is doing a damn fine job at re-establishing the title with the sexy and extremely talented Lita by his side. If you consider the time it takes for the likes of Mark Henry and Viscera to waddle down to the ring, we could also see a Women's Division and Hardcore match every Raw and Smackdown.
That's what the people want to see! ENTERTAINMENT!
