MARK OF THE BEAST BIO-CHIP

At a global security conference held today in Paris, an American company announced a new syringe-injectable microchip implant for humans, designed to be used as a fraud-proof payment method for cash and credit-card transactions.

The chip implant is being presented as an advance over credit cards and smart cards, which, absent biometrics and appropriate safeguard technologies, are subject to theft, resulting in identity fraud.

The Bible book of Revelation, Chapter 13, describes a time during which the end time world ruler (called the antichrist) causes every man to take a mark in their right hand or forehead, without which no man can buy or sell in the marketplace. Those who refuse to take the mark of the beast will be put to death. Those who take the mark will be aligning themselves with this antichrist and his evil regime. But the Bible says that those who take this mark will be lost forever with no hope of salvation.

Revelation Chapter 13, from the King James Bible, is reproduced below so that you can read it for yourself.

Revelation Chapter 13

1: And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2: And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3: And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5: And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6: And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

15: And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I believe this is one of the Signs of the Times signaling the soon return of Jesus Christ for His people and the events leading up to Armageddon (described in Revelation chapters 16 - 20). In fact, in his sermon today, our pastor mentioned this injectable credit card chip and equated this technology as the forerunner of the mark of the beast described in Revelation 13:16-17 (highlighted in the Bible text above). He encouraged us to be sure we were right with God and that we were being about His business and looking for the soon return of Jesus for His Church - when He will snatch us up to Heaven to be with Him!

These are amazing days as Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in our hearing and sight. It reminds us that we may not have much longer to proclaim the gospel and that we should make the best use of our time and be about the Lord's business now!

If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus, now would be a good time to get to know Him!

The important question is, "Do you know God? Have you understood that Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty for our sins upon Himself, so that we could receive forgiveness of our sins and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus?

If you have understood that Jesus died in your place and have already received His gift of eternal life, Praise the Lord!!
