LIFE QUEST - POINT OF VIEW


IF JESUS CAME

Would you have to change your
     clothes before you let Him in?

Or hide some magazines, and put
     the Bible where they'd been?

Would you hide your worldly music
     and put some hymn books out?

Could you let Jesus walk right
     in, or would you rush about?

And I wonder - if the Saviour
     spent a day or two with you,

Would you go right on doing,
     the things you always do?

Would you go right on saying,
     the things you always say?

Or would life for you continue
     as it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you
     everywhere you go?

Or would you maybe change your
     plans for just a day or so?

Would you be glad to have Him
     meet your closest friends?

Or would you hope they stay away,
     until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him
     stay forever on and on?

Or would you sigh with great
     relief when He at last was gone?

It might be interesting to know,
     the things that you would do,

If Jesus came in person, to spend
     some time with you.


How would you answer these questions?

If you are a Christian and you felt a bit uncomfortable after considering these questions, you may need to make some needed changes in your life! Ask Jesus to help you; He is always listening and delights to answer such prayers. By His Spirit He will help you to change and become more like Him!

Did you know that God has ordained that all of His children be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus? Paul the apostle tells us:

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethern." Romans 8:28-29

If you are not a child of God, please consider that God loves you so very much!
He demonstrated this love by sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, paying the penalty for your sins so that you could receive forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus!

If you have understood that Jesus died in your place and have already received His gift of eternal life, Praise the Lord!!

If not, why not receive Him right now? Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

He is waiting for you to come!
